Brilliant video that covers a tricky DIY job in easy to follow, step by step instructions. Excellent!
Glad it was helpful, RDT. It's still raining!
Well explained and demonstrated video that shows exactly how to do this pollen filter replacement job with confidence.Very good.
Thanks Bob.
Now i can do it myself because of your informative video about ford focus... More power mate, 😉❤ it helps a lot for a newbie like me 😊
Thanks Mark. Glad the video helped. More to follow.
Agreed great video. Strange thing in my case was there was no existing filter to remove on my 2006 Ford Focus. It has one now.
Thanks Peter. More Focus videos to follow.
Had no idea changing the pollen filter on a Focus is quite such a job. Your video will help a lot of people. I feel fortunate it is easier to reach in my car!
Glad you found it interesting, Anne.
@@CarSpyTV not gonna lie, i looked up this video after telling a friend of mine how much i hated doing inspections on these cars back when i worked at a ford dealer years ago. only difference beeing, i thought we had it bad in germany with Left hand drive ones, where you had to remove the throttle pedal to reach it, but this? yeah... LHD cars had the luckier pick on this job haha!
Agreed! Best wishes from CarSpyTV.
Excellent video! Well lit and not leaving anything open to suggestion. Pity my car is left wheel drive, will have to search for another video..
Thank you and best wishes from CarSpyTV.
Sorry I can't find it on my transit and sd1 as well should I be looking somewhere else lol have a good weekend mate
That's a mystery that can't be solved! Enjoy your weekend too, Ian.
By far the best UA-cam showing this procedure. It's almost as if Ford designed it never to be replaced in the first place making it so unnecessarily awkward! Sadly for me, it just illustrated that a combination of age, and declining dexterity, means I'll have to get a 'man' to do it for me. Still, a very informative video, thank you...
Thanks for the kind comment and best wishes from CarSpyTV.
Super video
Thank you, Jamie. More Focus videos to follow.
Gonna do mine now!
Go for it!
What a brilliant video. Really clear video and camera instructions. 10/10
Thank you, Robert. That's appreciated. More Focus content to follow.
If all tutorials were explained by this guy it would make DIY easier for everyone.
Thank you. Glad the video helped and best wishes from CarSpyTV.
The clearest explanation I've seen by far, great video
Thanks Peter. Glad the video helped.
Great video, well explained and helpful. Poor Ford design of filter location.
Thanks Mark. Glad the video's useful. Best wishes from CarSpyTV.
Brilliant video, just bought a cheap Mk2 Focus, air con working so makes sense to replace the pollen filter.🤗Why did Ford have to make it so awkward though😡
Thank you, Sarah. More Focus videos to follow. Enjoy your new car.
@@CarSpyTV I have subscribed!😊
Great design by engineers who have never had to do this
It's certainly easier in other cars!
Thanks
Thank you for this, Peter. Very kind!
Think you 😊
You're welcome.
Thank you for the video, it's very useful! I did notice you have an automatic transmission, how long is the interval to service the automatic gearbox, change the filter and fluids? How often I need to do it? Thanks!
Glad the video’s helpful.
The Focus isn’t here today, so I can’t check the owner’s manual for gearbox servicing info.
However, Haynes has information such as how much oil is needed, torque specs, etc. See:

Great work bro!
Thank you and best wishes from CarSpyTV.

Hmmm, I don't know where my comment went, but i need to share it with my mum :) lol
I've checked the 'held for review' section, Matt. Nothing there. How odd!
@@CarSpyTV maybe my by Internets was messing about. Hmmm
Good video
Thank you. That's appreciated.
Thanks, but would try to use a Vacuum cleaner instead blowing Into the box.
Hello. I have a small vacuum cleaner, but even this is too large to access the filter housing. Best wishes from CarSpyTV.
This applies also to ford focus 2.0 2006 model? Can't find the cabin filter cover. Thanks.
The location of cabin filter in my car is at the right side of accelator. I found it now.
Glad you found it. This video is for right-hand drive cars. There's a different procedure for left-hand. Best wishes from CarSpyTV.
What do you work as? I can see it being accountancy or computer programmer?
Well, I'm typing this message on a computer I built. Best wishes from CarSpyTV.
mam tam lepší přístup ale mam levostranné řízení a odstraním jen plynový pedál a je to rychlejší jak uvádíš zde ve videu
Best wishes from the UK.
well, there's a job I'm never going to attempt. Ford couldn't have made it much harder.
It's certainly a lot easier on my Nissan!
