8:20 how many details for the price have the re800 now? They cost 30 bucks now.
WEll, given the market, they'd be a best buy for etails, and the silver variant is still super enjoyable, so I think that if you can find them below 100 USD, they'd make a best buy
@@AudiophileHeaven are they inferior to the re2000? Yeah I am also talking about those silver versions ...
@@matusjurcik6974 RE2000 Silver is superior, but if the price difference is so high, I would get the RE800 Silver, more comfy, smaller shells
re2000 275bucks + tax (50bucks) +shipping, re800 32 bucks no additional tax + shipping. Re800 I have opportunity to buy 10x cheaper still. There is also thing that re2000 (according to some reviewers) has problems with timbre.
@@matusjurcik6974 Go Re800 for now, you can upgrade to re2000 later on
Hi, George
Are they still worth to buy for $149 in 2022 considering there are other chi fi iems for the same or less price?
Hi, yes, absolutely. The silver version in particular is still a favorite for me, thing below 200 USD ain't as good even now . YET 👌
@@AudiophileHeaven thanks for clearing that out! 😇
But I'm going to need an amplifier right for the RE800S?
@@kjg_95 no amp needed, most dongles or headphone output of smartphones will do just fine 👌
@@AudiophileHeaven which spinfit tips would you recommend, George?
What's the nozzle size of the RE800?
I used to listen pop,pop balad, edm, and i need good treble and mid sony wh1000xm3 vs hifiman re800 silver which is better and suit for me ?
I would go RE800 Silver here
Of course Hifimam
Ooo... always get detachable cables especially for high cost iems like those. Cables break all the time no matter how high end or build quality they are..
I agree, it is generally best to search for cables for high-end earphones, and this is why I consider it a con for RE800 Silver that they don't have cables...

Which one u think is the king of 300$ price range blessing 2 vs fiio fh5s vs mangird tea vs ibasso am05 ?
@@huyphucnguyen5623 Eehhhh, that's a really hard one. From that list, AM05 if you want a light sound, or Mangrid Tea for a natural sound.
@@AudiophileHeaven blessing 2 vs ibasso am05 overall which one u think is better im considering 2 these iem
Mình mua nội địa trung 249$
@@bahoangcao2006 bác mua con nào 250$ con hifiman hả
Hallo is it enough just using my s10 plus?
Hii, more or less yes, but you should keep in mind that the sound may be too quiet. You can get an entry-level, affordable DAC/AMP for little money to give them more punch!
I just bought the RE800. I think it's a piece of cheap junk. I don't usually write to pan a product. But this one is nasty. The sound is thin, tizzy and shouty. It has no bass and vocal and midrange sounds recessed (missing?). I'm listening on an Asgard 3 - so not the quality of your source. That said, I put on any of my other IEMs (the IKKO 10, say) and the comparison is embarrassing.
Thin and bright is a good way to describe them, but I think Asgard 3 is also rather neutral so the source isn't the most complementary for them either. At any rate, do you have RE800 Silver or RE800 gold, the original? They are quite different in tuning and Silver is much easier to listen to, the original was quite aggressive.
