BMW N52 VALVETRONIC ECCENTRIC SHAFT SENSOR SEAL

A common problem on the BMW N52 engine is failure of the Valvetronic Eccentric Shaft Sensor Seal. Today, I demonstrate how to replace the seal WITHOUT removing the valve cover.

I was having some vvt motor issues code 2a38 / sluggish movement/open circuit, one issue , code 2a77 was lose wire on battery module, tighten wire 2a77 went away , now 2a38 stayed now ? Looks like oil round the sensor, im not getting a bad sensor code if oil in inside will it still have 2a38 , mayb open circuit from oil ? i jus did valve cover gasket few months ago , really dnt went to do that any time soon again lolol , think clean the pins and change sensor gasket instead or jus change it , sorry so long , thanks

Start by resetting the valvetronic stop limits...need a shop quality scan tool or BMW software to do it
