      Meds. Well, I've tried multiple meds in the past, up to 11 a day, but the worst thing about my condition is that nothing works QUICKLY. Every time the monster hits, I know I'd be in for WEEKS, with meds or without. That's why I don't see shrinks any more. And of course I only can access meds made in Iran (crappy quality, I have to admit)

      Azizam, the medication: 11 a day (for one condition) is dangerous and unnecessary! You could get overdosed!! I understand wanting immediate relief for those panic attacks, but the nature of these medicines is such that they work slowly, over time, especially in the beginning, until you reach the appropriate dosage. You would usually start with 10 mg for the first week (one pill a day!), then progress to 20 mg the next week, then to 30 mg, until you reach a dose that helps you. Can your regular physician prescribe anti-anxiety medication in Iran, or must you see a specialist? I agree with you that therapists are usually not that helpful, unless you fall upon someone extremely knowledgeable, dedicated, and sincere. Here, in The States, 'therapy' is just business (like everything else!🙄), but maybe in Iran therapists are better(?)
      Please ask your doctor about Zoloft or Prozac, they are both considered stronger than Paxil.

    hi, I love your videos. Thank you for introducing us to iranian culture. I have a question though. In your opinion, what percentage of iranian population would you say are liberal/more open (like in mindset)? greater than 50% maybe? what about in the younger generation?
    I'm indian american living in the US and most of my iranian friends are pretty liberal. In fact, i personally have never seen any of them being very religious, i actually havent even seen them wear a headscarf...maybe that why they insist on being called persian rather than arab, not sure tho....Also i want to say, i have a very great opinion of iran from a young age as some of my friends during childhood have iranian background...Im grown up now and in college and not in touch with them anymore, unfortunately...but its actually astonishing how different iranian americans are compared to those living in iran...i never knew much about iran, as a country, or about politics in general when i was a kid....but as a kid, i really liked going to my iranian friends house and they were really friendly and nice as well....i remember going to a persian wedding in LA when i was a kid and it looked like a typical western wedding with few persian touches....only after i grew up did i realize how different iran, the country, actually is from iranians in america.... thought i'd share this...haha sorry if i bored you....

    • @NarsFromMars
      @NarsFromMars  3 роки тому +4

      Yes, I could say above 50%.
      They "insist" because Iran is NOT an Arab country (although we do have some Arab Iranians in the south).
      Most Iranians you see abroad are from more affluent less religious families, so I could say they don't exactly represent the entire country. We're a nation of 85 million people with various ethnicities, languages, and attitudes.
