Did you start with classical guitar or electric first? I started with playing thrash metal like megadeth and other kinds of music but I transitioned to classical guitar in highschool.
Dude, this is so clean! Sounds great. I'm trying to get my chops back again on electric anything you'd recommend? My main concern is if the concept of planting applies on alternate picking as well.
Ariel Eduardo Alba -not sure really. I am just learning as I go. I can say that I have been taking a more “classical “ approach to my practice. More disciplined I mean. Slow and clean with some structure
Matt would you recomend any classic Guitar etudes for elctric Guitar players ? specially for the left hand , if so wich ones would you recomend ? i Think there is very litle Objective information of how to addres dificulties with the left hand for Electric Guitar players . Cheers from Peru !
DamnDream Band I hesitate to answer only because I haven’t tried any classical etudes on the electric guitar myself. So far I’ve only been playing scales, arpeggios, improvisation and old thrash metal tunes. As I explore the electric guitar further, I may find something classical that is useful. If so I’ll share!
I'd be very curious to see you using swybryd picking like Marshall Harrison, I'm sure you can do it even better than him having your classical guitar technique way ahead of him. But you are already a beast so maybe shredding beyond that wouldn't be worth your musical talent.
Not sure. I never really try electric with my fingers, or in any hybrid style. It kinda makes sense that I would try to adapt my classical chops to the electric.
@@MattPalmerGuitar You are a fenomenal player and I wish to see you live one day (my dream is to be a professional classical master like you), take a look to Marshall Harrison technique, it works so easy and you would be flying with it.
TTT Wister not professional quality. For instance this is only an iPhone recording. But I’m considering exploring this avenue further as I improve on electric guitar.
@@MattPalmerGuitar, dude I honestly don't know how much you could improve on electric! I remembered you from the Sullivan South days, bro. You were at God mode in H.S.
More electric please God bless you brother
