- Akaavi Spar was born into a respected Mandalorian clan and became one of its finest warriors. She killed her first foe-an abusive Abyssin mercenary-at the age of eight using an improvised flamethrower. This victory earned her the nickname “firehand” among her clan and marked the beginning of an impressive career as an Imperial bounty hunter. Akaavi captured and killed all manner of targets in her youth, from career criminals to Jedi.
When her entire clan was framed for crimes against the Empire and executed, Akaavi alone survived the brutal purge-but her outlook on the galaxy changed forever. With no connection to her Mandalorian heritage, she became a wandering mercenary loyal to no one. - Ігри
The romance of Akaavi is quite interesting. It is still hard to believe that the warrior side of her can be tamed with the right words. Sucks you can not join her on the missions she goes to do. It would be cool to see her fight for her clan's honor.
"Ke barjurir gar'ade, jagyc'ade kot'la a dalyc'ade kotla'shya." When I first heard her say that, I knew right then and there that she was a keeper. A strong woman who would make sure our children were strong, no matter what gender they are. Mandalorian women are just....well to quote our flirty smuggler here...."Rrawrr."
Mandalorians value family more than war, one of the nari'se is defend yourself and your family. It is traditionally expected when you enter a mandalorians home to make a fuss about their children, it is considered rude not to. We love family so much that adoption is extremely common for mandalorians, moreso than blood children. Aliit ori'shya tal'den.

Yeah. I went with Risha because I thought there'd be more to romantic pursuits than "ok we're hitched now", but Akaavi is awesome.

8:15 her translation is incorrect ni kar'taylir gar darasuum, means i hold in my heart you forever/i hold you in my heart forever, the mandalorian way of saying i love you.
She cannot take part in the flirtation. Apt considering every bit of flirtation by him seemed to be recitation in an empty room.
I'm sure her head will pop holes in your pillows and possible your chest if she ever decides to use you as a pillow

If the Mandalorians are any indication, imagine how unstoppable the Spartans would be if they followed the wisdom of "Train your sons to be strong, but your daughters to be stronger."
Aaron Alexander you can see the pattern that the Mandalorians are the Star Wars take on Spartans from the helmets to their warrior culture
My favorite Romance for a Male Smuggler. Mandalorians may be brutal warriors, but they have their priorities in order.
hey TheAwesomeLegacy, it never occurred to me but I noticed that at 13:15 u actually missed a segment w/ur relationship to Akaavi. Supposedly before the "marriage conversation" occurs, she mentions that when she accepted ur character's kiss she never thought she'd fall in love w/him and mentions that Mandalorian phrase version of "I love you".
You might be right, I remember screwing up some of the recording (didn't record when I thought I did) so that part is lost.

I like Akaavi, but it's difficult to raise influence since some of the light sided choices can lower her influence. And while I don't like making dark side choices, it works well w/her.
It's a weird thing, i usually do things like this: Jedi are always light, Sith are always dark, but the "normal" people can go both ways as far as i'm concerned... I played through as a Smuggler as both a light and dark sided playthrough, and i had fun either way!
I guess u make a point, in terms of having fun.
Neutral choices work, too. Most of the time, the choices you have to make with Akaavi present are more along the lines of combative and self-presevation (not all of them are Dark Side choices).

Did you pursue both her and Risha in the same playthrough? Or explore two different outcomes?
I started with Akaavi and completed that romance, then I romanced Risha.

Can you romance both sparr and risha?
Yes you can, but if you want Akaavi, be sure to break it off when Risha starts talking about the marriage proposal with the Count. She'll try and jump your bones and that will piss Akaavi off big time! I didn't even flirt with Risha and she made her move. I had to hit esc to redo the conversation and break off the courtship. Now Risha is free to court the Count and Captain Verdi Pash can court Akaavi.

Do you mean post-return? I'm assuming you play female if you romanced Corso. Vanilla slam hounds were strictly straight...
Eh. Corso and Akaavi are both good in my eyes. Smuggler has a good selection. Meanwhile, I feel the female Jedi Knight gets shafted with Doc, while the male gets the absolute Jedi Angel that is Kira.

I romanced both of my crewmates Akaavi and Risha Drayen, then I got myself caught by both of them but I had to choose one and Risha was the one for me.

@dar'man beskar Ordo Brutal as they are, it's somewhat heartening to see the legacy of the Mandalorians carried on by those willing to learn and value their ways. Especially since it matters not WHAT you are, but WHO you are.
It's probably years too late now, but Mandalorians can be pretty much any Species.
They....I wouldn't exactly call them a "Race", more like a gigantic Organization, if you will.
It's similar to the Jedi. You can become a Mandalorian, you simply have to follow their Code and wear their Armor.
And there is of course still Adoption.

Mandalorians identify themselves not so much by race, but by ideology. You accept that ideology, and survive the training, you're a mandalorian.
As it is said in one of the conversations; One can become a Mandalorian either by birth or adoption. Whether Akaavi is one or the other is uncertain
Mandalorians are more of a tribe than a species really. You can be Twi'lek and still be allowed into the Mandalorians.
