ANNOUNCEMENT: The give-away competition run in conjunction with this video was drawn on the morning of 1 May, 2024 and the winner was @donnanaughton756 Congratulations!
I would take these killer jig heads back to tom's childhood stomping ground tuross. To fish the bream and flathead fishing competition march next year to help catch my first full bag 2 bream 2 flathead to end a 5 year drought thanks Starlo and Tom.
I would love to use the resin heads on black bream down south with a flick bait minnow or a gulp, I would also use them in my local lakes in the winter when the trout are about and skip them along the top of the water.
I been fishing for about 50 of my 56 years... Had some good times and now carrying on the good times fishing with my 8 year old boy.... His 2 sisters enjoy it as well but not as much as him.... We are out there at least 2-3 times a week ... Hes even learnt to use a bait caster, before i could. Now he wants to try his hand at freshwater. These jigheads would be handy in a lot of places we go, from the river for bream to the shallows in the dams and rivers that feed it. And would compliment the originals in the tackle box.. 😁
Tom was never a chance of not enjoying wetting a line starlo. You can’t beat the subtle drop of a lightly weighted jighead on some of our finest saltwater species as such as bream. Nice video well done mate.
It’s awesome that Tom is producing these. After the squidgy resin heads were discontinued I thought we would never see them again. I’ve been meaning to buy a couple of packs and this video just reminded me. Great work!
Great video Starlo! Those jigheads if won by me would be used in central victoria chasing Trout and redfin for sure! I am sure the reddies would love the bright orange jughead's! The trout would prefer the Green. The worm burners would be used around the Torquay region in Victoria!
Great bream Starlo and Tom! I want to try the new original jig heads down in Mallacoota to catch a few stonkers myself. Then I'll grab the worm burners and try my luck closer to home to catch a few whiting!
Hey @donnanaughton756 Congratulations! You won! Please contact either myself or Tom (ideally via Facebook or Instagram messaging) so we can get your postal address and mail out your prize pack!
Love the look of your resin heads Tom reckon l could learn a bit more about bream fishing with these. I haven't been chasing bream for long and still working out the spots here in SA. West lakes is one spot there seems to be a few. Glad you give so many tips on how to thanks Starlo.
Hi Steve, I bought a couple of packs of Tom’s jig heads a while ago but only tried them for the first time a couple of weeks ago. Third cast scored me a 37 cm bream out of Patterson River! Needless to say, I’m hooked! Such a great product, can’t wait to try some of the rest of the range. Cheers & beers!
Our tassy bream would love a chew on these bad boys... love to try a few around the east coast... cheers for the vids mate you have come a long way since the rex hunt days...
Hi Starlo.. Enjoying your Vids.I met Tom years ago at a commercial fishing course up at Urunga. Say g'day for me. He taught me in that week how to cast a baitcaster. Good fulla.
Hi Steve I really enjoy watching your videos and i’m really keen on these worm burners your son Tom has developed. I watched one of your videos fishing with Roger and you were rigged using the worm burner. These days i fish light off the surf using live beach worms and would definitely use the worm burners.
As always a great vid. I love the ‘hang time’ that only a resin head jig can give. Prefer to use them over weed beds and around floating oyster leases or pontoon. When that hand time is critical.
Awesome father and son video. I haven’t fished with my father for at least 10 years, makes me think I should really do the same. Would love to show dad my neck of the woods chasing the bass in some rivers.
Hey starlo been a fan of yours for over 20 years. Would love to use these off the beach targeting whiting. As for the resin heads I still recall the flick prawn being my favourite lure with the resin heads. I have dug up some old flick baits that I will use the resin heads with if I’m lucky!
No better way to spend time with family than Bream fishing, I get out with my son chasing Bream up our local creek, those resin heads would suit our little outings perfectly, great video gents
Hi Starlo I have been really loving the video's i would really want to use the jigheads pair them up with some squidy to see if i can finally catch some flathead and potentially pinkies at port phillip bay
Finesse fishing goodies - Hastings River and surrounding Mid North Coast. I would like to try the finesse fishing goodies in the Saltwater for Bream, flathead, whiting and flounder and the Freshwater for some bass. Cheers Lee
Awesome video Starlo- if I were to win the bundle I’d give em a crack around Melbourne’s Docklands on the big bream hiding around all the piers and pylons!
Another great vid mate, Tom's a chip of the ole block. Heading to Sussex Inlet in June hopefully in my new boat. If I win the package Ive got a great stretch of bank in mind, only fishable at high tide where I picked up a few luderick on yabbies last time, reckon I could recreate a yabby with the right plastic and these jig heads.
G’day Starlo another awesome video as always. I’d use the resin heads chasing big cagey Derwent River bream. Try and match the size of fish you got into a few months ago while you were down here. Keep up the amazing work as you do. Cheers, Matthew
A quality time having a fish with your son, I do the same with my daughter's when time allows. Great estuary fishing 🎣. I love the same in the Hawkesbury River and lake Macquarie. I'll need to get some of Tom's tackle. Cheers starlo.
Special times fishing with your son. My eldest boy is just starting to take an interest in fishing. These would be great to use on the Derwent river chasing bream and I reckon they’d go well up the lakes in the Central Highlands of Tas on the trout. Tight lines 🎣
Some nice blue noses there Starlo. I got a feed off the beach on Wednesday a nice rock cod and mullet plus a feed of garfish. Also got a Barra but only low 40s released it. Got it on a live garfish 😊
This video was shot in NSW. The Gamakatsu hooks are actually quite small for their designated sizes. Those 1/0s in the Bugeyes are more like a No.1 and the No.1s in his New Original series are more like 2s. I don’t use anything smaller. We built some on 2s but they’re too small to sit well with most popular bream plastics.
Hey guys, great video and product. I'd love to throw some bug eyes and plastics into the snags for bream around Walpole and try the worm burners on the KG whiting on the flats.
Another quality Starlo video! Jig heads look great! I’d love to give these new resin jig heads a go with my 2 boys, who’ve only recently got in to lure fishing, on the Shoalhaven River sand flats or on our kayaks in Lake Illawarra!!!
Great Vid Steve & Tom. I'm heading to Tasmania (live in SA) in September for a mates wedding and the travel rods will be coming with me and my wife, she loves to fish too. If we were fortunate enough to win the bundle we'll be giving them a red hot cast down Tassie. Cheers Starlo team. 🙌🏼
Love the look of these Tom/Starlo. I would really love to give these a crack on some of the sneaky wild bass up in the Gorge country on the Clarence. I think they are looking for something different this time of year.
Fantastic ! They were stonkers as well, great vid. Might have to try some of Toms handywork, they look good and how good is the legendary wriggler in bloodworm ? That's it...time to get the gear ready ...
good job mate. id love to give them a try on our southern black bream down here, my finesse catch rate hasnt been anything to desire the last couple of years lol
Would love to use them on the Huon river in Tasmania have a few spots that the finesse would be a winner, great to see the idea resurrected and might be able to not be so protective of some OG resin heads I still have
Great video guys. I targeted bream for the first time last year (with the help of the WRFL ladies) and loved every bit of it I’ve now got a rod for bream and slowly adding to my arsenal of bream gear and I definitely be adding Tom’s Jig heads too.

Loving the all the content and especially engagement with the community. Great to see aussie innovation and manufacturing. I'd love to have a go at these against my usual freshwater targets in inland Victoria. Can see them cleaning up a good bag of Redfin, Yellow belly, trout and cod.
Thanks so much for that! Yes, a lot of your freshwater gear and techniques will adapt beautifully to the salt, and to species like bream! You'll love it...
Hi Starlo and Tom , I have used you products before and they are great, I just ordered more yesterday . I would definitely love to give these new models on the George’s and port hacking rivers.i would use them matched to my 1000 Stradic and anarchy rod in my 420 Busta boat. Good to see an Aussie business doing well . Regards Sharmo
Starlo - I love watching your videos and I have gone out and bought light weight Shimano gear to chase flathead and bream in shallow water at my local estuary on the mid-north coast of nsw. These bug eye jig heads look a treat and I can’t wait to try them out when wading the flats. Tom’s worm burners also look the goods for whiting off the beach! Keep up the great work.
I'd love to try these around structure in narrabeen lake and pittwater rigged on a grub for bream. Might even pick up some flathead too, not bad for by catch. I'd also be interested in trying these rigged on plastics for trout in the blue mountains and the snowys. As always Starlo tight lines!
Great Vid Starlo and Tom I’m convinced and would love to give these a go on the local Sydney Bream in the middle Harbour area … need all the help I can get. Keep up the great work
I am a big fan of the resin heads. Simply, they catch fish and are very durable. My favourite use is with a switch rod using a skagit set up looking for flathead. Several huge whiting have been caught using them too. Will order a few more when I return home in a fortnight. 👍
Great work fellas. If I were to win the comp I’d happily sample these around middle harbour/pittwater in Sydney. Even if I don’t win them I’ll be placing an order as soon as I can

I'll be buying a few packs of these soon to give them a red hot go!
I’d love to win! Having surgery on the 19th and this would be awesome for my recovery and some fishing for bream around Johnsonville Victoria. Great video Stirlo!
