To this day I still find it STAGGERING the likes of which will never be seen again supernova died at only 53 years of age. For me she remains the most mesmerizing Opera singer I've ever heard. My regret is to have never seen her perform
Perfectly stated. I feel the same about this incredible woman. She was (and is) completely mesmerizing and fascinating, in both her art and personality.
Driving back from work to where I live in the 9th area of Paris, I drive Avenue Georges Mandel every day. Last week driving there and always having a quick look at "The" address I saw a large sign, the ones you normally see in Paris when a flat is on sales.....this after noon, sunday, I went there to see what was going on...maybe one flat was on sales.....in fact the sign was simply indicating that some works were in progress on the first floor. Callas was living on the 3rd and it looks like the shutters are locked...i don't think some one is living there...but no chance to go through the door or even "vist"
