I tried learning to fly at Kemble, booked the whole course and in 10 booking only managed 1 hr due to weather. My intention was to buy my own plane and store it there but I gave up in the end, didn't see a point in having a hobby I couldn't use. Maybe I'll try again with Kemble flying club... nice people there

Muso Seven thanks for watching. It’s only 35nm direct so doesn’t take long at all...with an average ground speed of 100kts it takes 21 mins direct
Private Pilot Vlogs hi, thanks, good point, in my head, Wellsbourne is a fairly winding road journey from my home. At 100kts (116 mph) direct, is, as you say a coffee run (albeit a bit on the pricey side LOL). There has been some challenging crosswinds at Kemble (08/26) I've observed this year. I suppose that's why the old, now disused, runways were there, in the past. Thanks for getting back to me.

Thank you. Another enjoyable video. I sounds like the weather is getting colder over there. It’s warming up here in North West Sydney, yesterday we were recording about 37 to 38 degrees Celsius travelling back from the city to home, this was confirmed by our weather app. Only 27 degrees Celsius at the moment.

We have been cutting the back lawn in the early afternoon, a bit too hot! We are waiting until about six o’clock when it’s cooler to cut the front lawn. Heat has its problems!
