I did enjoy it, thank you 😄 This was the nr.1 psy sound that I wanted to learn how to make. And just with the sounds in every other electronic genre, the most used and most effective sounds are usually also the most simple ones to make it seems. 1st I couldn't exactly get my head around how to make this squelch. I knew by listening to the sound that saw, bp, and pitchmod was involved. But was a bit unsure how exactly the modulation was put together. Seems like there're some guidelines to follow, but still freedom to move it in the way that you feel like, just like with any or most other sounds (depending on how experimental and undefining one wanna go or not go of course). I just did it in Vital, and I'm gonna try to make it in some other soft synths as well. In hardware I want to try it out on my Mono Lancet. But it only has LP filter. I can do the pitch mod there though and do some manual mod variations in the env attack and decay. I can route it through my Filter Lancet to get the filter mod that way. The BP filter is in 12 db though, so a bit wide. But for some reason, I don't feel like it's that wide in spectrum. But that might just be me 😅
Great tutorial! Which pack is that squelch preset from? I'm having a tough time trying to find a good workflow for FM zaps/squelches so this helps a lot
