I'm with you. There is nothing whatsoever wrong with buying Ivita dolls. I'm sure that the silicone doll artists would rather we bought from THEM, but they, themselves, make sure that will never happen by pricing their dolls WAAAAAAAAY too high. They can't do that and then tell us not to buy from Ivita. (...or...actually they can, but we don't have to listen, do we?) It would be nice if they just REALIZED that and shut their pie holes. =-x
I just bought an Ivita that I am re painting but I do have two silicones from artist and Reborns from artist.I’ve heard not to put same clothes on dolls that ivita wears and don’t touch dolls after touching ivita what is your take on this please
You're not suppose to keep them together(silicones and vinyl) but as for touching them and clothing I never heard that. My Ivita babies are fine. Don't over bathe them. Silicone is oil based and it will dry them out. I touch mine up with corn starch baby powder when shiny.

Everything you said resonated so well with what I had in mind I just ordered me a silicone baby off Ebay after 2 weeks of searching for something that fits me and I refused to pay 400 on etsy for a 8 inch small tiny baby I love bigger babies because all my babies where above 6lbs when I gave birth to my kids i think i ordered the same baby from ebay but she was 93.00 and 15inchs

Is my favorite, even though all the dolls you made are incredibly Exceptionally Beautiful, I’m not into reborn dolls, it’s not my thing, but I appreciate and respect your creativity your craftsmanship, you are a true artist, and I find myself saying Awwwwwwwwww, They look so precious and so real, I do not want it to be my hobby, I already have a hobby and I don’t want another one, because this one can be truly expensive, so I will live vicariously, through all you other people and the reborn doll community,You seem to be really sweet , but a lot of people in the reborn doll committee or a little bit of Vicious and mean, Thank God there’s quite a few of you that are precious and sweet, But if I ever change my mind you’ll be the first to know, Because what I notice is some other people that make reborn baby dolls cannot be trusted their scam artist !

@@DebbiesDreamyDolls well I don't really know because before I knew anything about stolen sculpts or stolen babies from other artists I just went on Amazon and I found a cute baby that I liked which happened to be your baby that you have also,but then whenever I got the baby she didn't seem horrible or bad at all but there were you know imperfections and I was okay with that then I started researching the sculpt that I got and watching videos and it said that the baby was stolen and I kind of felt bad but whenever I asked for a refund they said that they can't and I would take a long time to so I just decided to keep it and I don't think there's anything wrong with it it doesn't look like there is so I'm going to keep the baby but overall I don't know the sculpt I just know where I got it from and that is the company vollence off of Amazon!

You have to use special paints just for silicone. I have not attempted to do It
