I was so interested in this subject, I purchased this album and have one book. And not finding a place that had this entire collection with the lyrics, I decided to go ahead and digitize this for my own, and hopefully some people researching this fascinating subject will receive joy from it. At the end of the video, I also included the liner notes, back cover/credits.
The recording itself is very dynamic. From very plaintive (and beautiful, might I add) to group bombast praise. The loudest section is within "Psalm 150", (Just a warning if you have it cranked up heading into that one), I did not compress it with plug ins or anything, nothing on the master buss, or pseudo "remastering". I simply imported the album through my UAD Apollo 8, into Pro Tools, at the loudest level I could without distorting. I don't have a $1k needle so there is a bit of inner distortion I noticed on the inner tracks on each side. But it's better than nothing. Enjoy!

Psalm 23 is like a father singing a lullaby.

That's why the Scriptures tell us David drove demons away from King Saul😅

It was a comfort to my soul! But I can't explain why and how.( put my phone ear plugs in my ears, and just relaxed and listened.)Then did the same with some hymns in English." Speaking
to yourselves in Psalms and hymns and spiritual song's making melody in your ❤ heart's unto the Lord.."( a Bible something like that).🙏

I find nothing like this music (I was SHV's assistant from 1982-2000). Paul wrote of the Greek chant possible from the three Greek accents, at bare minimum. This gives a *decent melodic rendition - but nothing like this! Composing new music after the Greek style, or borrowing synagogue tunes, also would have been done. But few outside of converted priests could have known or sung this music in the early Church. The fact we can sing it now awes me no end.
The complete works are found here (more by Esther Lamandier, Mira Zakai and others are coming):
