- It's been way to long since I've gotten together with some of the guys. Last Sunday we remedied this. This video is nothing special or ground breaking, just five guys knocking the rust of after Christmas and having some fun on what is our first shoot of 2019... It feels good to get back in the woods.

I am genuinely surprised nobody has mentioned/spotted the homage at the beginning of this video? 😂
Watched it again, and admit to being mystified...
😏 someone will get it😉
Always Sunny in Philadelphia!
I think Matt McClain wins the prize. Its always sunny in Philadelphia.
There's nothing better than have a day of archery with good friends
Jim, great as always. I would enjoy hearing what everyone has for equipment I mean their bows and arrows :-). Keep them coming and make them longer please. Thence you.
Alan Beaulier we had originally planned to do that, but we got carried away having too much fun and forgot 🤷♂️
I've been watching your videos for a long time and I really enjoy them. I recently injured my shoulder and am possibly looking at surgery so I haven't been able to shoot for awhile. Your videos along with others give me the archery fix I need for now and I thank you for that! Keep em comin!
A couple of vids in the same amount of weeks. You are spoiling us Jim! Not that I am complaining! Keep them coming. Thanks.
I'm too American... at the beginning of the video I was like... WATCH THE ROAD JIM!!!!! Then I was like... Oh yeah, it's the UK and the wheel is on the other side. LOL. The other guy is driving of course.
Looks like a great days shooting :) keep having fun guys!!
I love this stuff... archery adventures is actually the first thing I've ever subscribed to on UA-cam... I shoot the same bow as well
I am glad that everyone is back together and that was a great video I also would love to live in one of those houses, they look really pretty and welcoming
The bearded bow brothers.
Just perfect out in woods with your mates 👍👍👍
Today I went out shooting in the woods for the first time in 3 years. It felt great, even though I was rusty I lost no arrows and hit more than I missed. Plant shoot weekly soon.....it's good for the soul. All the best, Scotty the Aussie
Lovely course and perfect way to spend a day, Jim! Nicely put together, I felt like I was back there with you! Graham so needs to share his nutri-smoothie recipies, it sounds awesome 💚 😂, also ❤ his hat. Nice to see Paddy's out shooting again too. 😁👍👍👍
Went out shooting with my buddies today. Always a good time!
Just watching your form (right arm elbow) has been helpful to me. Sacramento, CA Peace, Jim
You had a really good release. I think it would be so cool to travel from country to country shooting with other trad people and making friends. I know you came to ETAR one year I was camping just down from you but did not know you were there. It would have been great to say hi and talked a few minutes. Darren
You have a really good release. Darren
Wonderful day out. Peace from Berkshire
Looks like you all had a great time.
Sig Man we always do buddy!
Thank you for watching
Spinoff idea. “Always Overcast in the UK”
Great video, sound advice and just some great hours spent with like minded friends... but the relaxing haunting music is wonderful, yet not mentioned at all (unless I've missed it)? Please do tell so we can all enjoy. Thanks.
Toli Kram it’s in the description 😉
@@ArcheryAdventures Many thanks... :-)
Glancing at the video on my second monitor at work, at the start of the video the guy on the left of the car looking back and talking while the car moves forward scared me quite a few times. Damn UKians and your weird ways :D
Dobromir Manchev 😂 would it make you feel better if I flipped any video with driving scenes I could Call it a US and European continent edit 😉
@@ArcheryAdventures Guess that could be a solution. Wonder if UA-cam will be ok with it :P
That's what it's all about.
I'm gonna tell ya... This is what we men have been doing since the first dude invented the bow and showed it to his mates. This is THE WAY we become better archers. Out shooting with our mates... talking shite.
I in joy the music but keep it in the back ground when you guys are talking. :-)
You are shooting three fingers under in other video I saw you in you where spit finger. Any good reason for the change. Gotta love them striker bows
Don Thornton just something that I’ve been playing with... I made a video on it a few weeks back ;)
What quivers do you all use? Great video as always!!!!
Matthew Tillman I use a Selway, JT uses a Big Jim, Graham is a thunderhorn, and Bradley’s is another selway I think?
@@ArcheryAdventures alright, thank you!
What are the green thingies you have on your string?
Who starts singing the outro ditty right before the outro starts playing? Was that Graham? Too funny!
RFVCXR200R 😂 that’s JT
@@ArcheryAdventures Man! JT has been your boy since at least as far back as your video where you shoot into a cup, and move back. Hang on to buddies like that, they don't come along every day!
Great relaxing video, thanks. Two dislikes, (probably compound people)(Kidding!!!!)
Who's is the black bow at 1.26 without the bow quiver?
That was our DOP's bow ;)
What bow are you using in the video?
Imaan Essack it’s a Striker sport TDR with with classic recurve limbs
Thank you ☺
@@ArcheryAdventures Hey Jim, talking about limbs... one small question from a new archer! Do the limbs need to be slight different due to shooting 3 under? When you are shooting 3 under, I assume, the tension in one limb will be higher than the other but I am not sure if that is noticeable. Thank you and greetings from the Alps.
Why is the weather so shitty in the UK. Every video I watch its rainy and/or cloudy... :\
Andrew Teng It’s the UK it’s what we are famous for!
But to be fair this was filmed in January (which in this hemisphere is winter) so you can’t expect too much... 😅
@@ArcheryAdventures Okay fair enough. Good on you guys for getting out there despite the weather. In all fairness I'm originally from Canada where you wouldnt be doing any of that in January but I'm spoiled now living in southern California! 3D instinctive shooting all the way!
Everybody alway complains at me that I dont use follow thru, and its like Bro I use a Khatra.
Tex Grebner Outdoors exactly,I am a firm believer in the fact that the bow is designed to do one thing incredibly well, and the less influence we have over it the better those arrows are gonna fly... form is subjective, and if a bow pops forward it’s piping In the right direction ;)
