- Give my review on the Wilderness Systems Tarpon 120 kayak after weeks of testing. The boat is very stable and tracks great! For the money you can't beat this.

That was a really good review and answered most of the questions I had about this boat, thank you.
Fantastic review...the best I have ever seen. Thank you!!
Thank you Steve. I've enjoyed it. I've made more upgrades to it. I need to post some new vids.
Congrats on the purchase and thanks for posting this great video! I just bought this one as well but haven't had a chance to get in the water. Keep up the good work.
That sure looks like a great kayak, brother! Can't wait to see the vids of you using it!
Great video and very informative. I was looking at one the other day but didn't know what some of those accessories were for. Going to get one of my own soon :). Thanks!
Thanks. This vid has helped me a lot. I know the kayak i want!!!!!
Ah just been busy. Hope i'm caught up and staying on YT more now and supporting my buddies. I love it. I also really like the Jackson Coosa as well but was just out of my price range.
Both are doing great brotha! Thanks for asking. Hope you guys are as well.
Thanks Bro! I love it so far.
Great review. I've been looking at yak's for awhile for my solo trips. You may have just sold me on the idea for next season.
nice little boat...the Tarpon's are really cool kayaks.
I agree........Loving it.
I love it so far. Haven't done a overnighter yet but hope too in the next few weeks. It will hold up to 350lbs. The Wilderness Ride is shorter and weighs more but holds up to 500 lbs.
Thorough review bud .
Sure alot of people will benefit from this , Looks like a proper boys toy !
Its a beauty I'm torn between the Ws tarpon 120 or the ok prowler 13 for sea fishing
Cool yak after the erie try I want to do again but with more comfortable seat and still no rapids.
A good way to get one of these at a low price is to buy the Perception Pescador 12. It uses the mold from the 2008 Tarpon 120. Brand new it costs less than the current model Tarpon 100.
This one is stable and comfortable but another one I like for comfort is the Jackson Coosa. Has a really nice seat.
Sounds tempting but camper has on my little extra being taken hopefully done investing in it next year so I can get the hot tent I have been planning on getting
Thank you. I love it.
Excellent Mike! We're Yangon in there bro
I just bought this one too. :o) I love mine.. The Wilderness Systems Tarpon 120 is great for fishing or just overall recreation.. I love to fish in mine as it allows me to be able to get where the fish hang out, where they breed and feed. in the reeds and weeds. Got mine on sale for $700.00 at EMS
Thanks buddy!
I am installing a Rudder system into my Tarpon. I noticed the Rudder lift line Eye Pads on my Tarpon 120 don't fit with given and written about screws. (What screws on R. side are for.) With my Rudder ready Tarpon I tried the 10-32x3/4,PHL,FLT,SS which fit perfectly. Too bad they only gave me one and Six of 10-32x7/8, PHL,FLT,SS which they said I should use. Those can't screw tight as it seems the pre-drilled locknut set is capped on the inside of boat to not let water in or something....
Great kayak, i just got the WS Ride.
Thanks bro!
I know the feeling bro. Told my wife if we don't get our camper out soon its gone fall apart.......lol
Great accent man from Ireland
is this brand considered the top of the line in kyaks? i know nothing about them, ive always had canoes but am interested in getting one in the next year
great, thankyou
Hi mike, cool kayak! How's Bella and the Mrs? Chuck and Sally
I would call it one of the top of the lines. For the money I couldn't go wrong. Yes you can buy one cheaper from Bass Pro or dicks but might not be the quality or as nice of features. There are others that are good as well. I wanted something kinda all around but was light as I could get. Some of the nicer angler yaks weighed more than I wanted. I will say this, I went from an Adventure 14 canoe. I want ever go back now. ;)
how tall and how heavy are you if you don't mind me asking please?
Pepper,, At that time I was about 245lbs and I'm 5'11". Also, I always had a small cooler full of ice and my fishing gear. Never had any problems as far as weight capacity.
ReeperzOutdoors awesome thanks!
You can cure the leak in the hatch by rolling up a plastic baggy and close it in the hatch
Sorry man I don't know. DOn't use a rudder on mine.
Class 3 my ass. And I own a tarpon.
