ehrlich gesagt habe ich die kontrolle des kolbenring stosses vermisst. anscheinend spielt es keine rolle an welchem punkt des kolbens der stoss liegt? aber ansonsten perfekt.

I'm a mechanic as well..I have assembled a few engines in my days....I'm impressed by the quality of this engine...I realize that is an truck engine... but did you notice that very little plastic component were used? Most part were made out of metal....the only criticism is that I noticed that all parts were cleaned.... after all this work..a little paint would have been appreciated.
This is an assembler, not a mechanic. And I criticize his way of lubricating things by hand. Not a thorough job.
As a former mechanic, it was refreshing to watch this engine assembly. Great job, beautiful piece of machinery.

Guess you don’t work for a dealer listening to people bitch and moan about squeaks and rattles and why their Bluetooth is not working. That’s the new reality about being a technician nowadays! I’m out in one more year. Sucks big time. 42 years is long enough

I "pulled the plug" in 2006, after 56 years and I don't regret it one iota. I miss the electronics which I tinker with on occasion but not that I have to. When something goes amiss on any of my vehicles I diagnose it and take it to the repair shop and tell them what to do.
It is......I am a BMW guy but I would enjoy working on this engine, perfect engineering....

This brings back memories. .. In my younger years I dismantled many engines and rebuilt them with similar vigour....The satisfaction was immensely satisfying when the unit was cranked and came to life...Thanks for re enlightening me..
My father assembled the first Perkins V8 by hand at their factory in Peterborough many years ago. They had to see if all of it fitted together correctly and worked. He was a production foreman.Their engines went into many branded lorries including ford . The company was Massey Ferguson owned for many years and then Caterpillar.

Takes me back. What a wonderful invention battery powered tools are. They must save hours. Back in the day, hand tools were all that were available, but the techniques and care required haven't changed.

Но моя специализация малолитражные для легкого транспорта, 1.0-3.5 литра.
Смотрел с удовольствием. То же самое, что и моя работа, только размеры другие.
