1979 Louisiana Superdome New Orleans. I saw Andre the Giant vs. Sterling Golden and it wasn't even the main event, nor the co-main event. But it was worth the price of admission. And that same night I visited my first strip club ( I was 14 years old ) on Bourbon Street. GOOD TIMES !!!!!!

Old school hype was always the best . Yeah Hogan did roids . But back then everybody in bodybuilding/Pro Wrestling did ( with the exception of Bruno) . Hogan was a friggn BEAST. It’s a shame that he let his damn ego run away with him years later and made some bad mistakes in his personal life.

Everybody wasn't doing roids in 1979. It wasn't until needles McMahon took over the business and had Zahorian dish out the candy bags to the extreme.

Regardless of criticisms steroids aren't magic, they don't build muscle without actual effort. It still takes a lot of dedication and hard work to get to this kind of size. I do 1.5 + hours over 5 days a week, I don't do steroids and never have and sure I'd be a hell of a lot bigger if I did, but at what cost right?
