CVT is ok as long as it doesn't hesitate. I normally prefer regular transmissions

wow I was thinking how decent it looks (for a "SUV") until I saw the rear tail lights...at 1:23 with that closeup! It is absolutely hideous! Quite love the front though. The inside is nice too.
But sedans for me please. Or hatchbacks. Not raised hatchbacks or wagons called "SUV"s.

I have noticed that about the hatchbacks raised to be called Crossovers. Interesting that the public loves them when they're raised over the lower versions.

Given the target demographic... Lexus should have held onto their heritage and improved the center console/dash region. For the price... I’d expect it to stand out more than the Toyota RAV4 center console/dash.

You have a point. But I think they’re fixated on margins considering the lower cost of this car. It’s also an entry level Lexus and perhaps one to keep future Lexus buyers wanting to upgrade to more expensive models.

I have a 2016 NX 200T, my dash looks far better than this one, this is so plain, mine looks like a fighter plane instrument panel at night when it lights up, love mine, the turbo engine kicks ass also! $41.5K out the door.

David Hatchel it's not meant to be better than a nx... The nx is a higher class... Actually I can't afford the NX yet... I want to buy my next car with cash... So the ux is pretty interesting

I bet it will be around 45 grands.....
I would say it totally looks so so ugly....
    Why???
    Honestly, this is my opinion.....
I dont know if you have same conception with me or not....
Starting with grille ... nothing changes with big black mouth in front and the thing the signature L shape hook moves up to the headlight instead below them like any of Lexus cars...
It makes those headlights getting smaller and fog light should be place along with the black vein for both sides.... making L shape fog lights .. it definitely look great.
Next thing is interior..... why the clock not putting in the middle between two air vein AC plus it does not have any wood trim details across the dashboard like the rest Lexus products...........
And the last thing the rear of the UX..
I strongly agree Lexus invest a lot /makes big changes for their new bae to going out the market to compete with the small other crossovers ........
    Attractive taillight......
I am still curious how its signals going when it works.... Will it run to left side to right side of we turn left left signal and same with the right side too.... WILL IT GO FROM RIGHT SIDE TO LEFT SIDE ??? I saw that kind styling ideas from Q5 of Audi or Mustang... their signals catch my eyes on road when it is on..... it just simple sexyyy!!!
One more thing, if I dont want to say its size... I mean its length..... too short plus too long.... if I drive next to the UX on the highway , I'll feeling like I racing with the snake........... Look at the Subaru crossovers..... FORESTER, CROSSTREK, especially OUTBACK.... IT IS EXACTLY SAME SIZE WITH THE LEXUS UX I MENTION........
Overall, IT IS NOT TOTALLY PERFECT OR WORTH WHATEVER THE PRICE IT IS , IN MY PERSONAL OPINION,.... I feeling like Toyota/Lexus will hit their brand new bae out the door not under $35000, I surely believe ......
Cause the NX is already roughly touch $45000 ( FULLY OPTION ) and it is just mid size crossover and next we have RX almost hit $55000 for full options ( AWD, PLUS F SPORT PACKAGE....)...
THINK ABOUT IT, BEFORE YOU BUT IT!!! I HONESTLY ADVISE!!! THANKS FOR READING MY COMMENTS!!! 😁😁

I don’t think it’s going to be that expensive considering it’s bigger brother the NX is priced in the mid 30’s to mid 40’s.
