Really helpful video, thanks for doing this. I love my Ownhammer IR's but the sheer number of files they include are often too much to wade through. Like having 300 kinds of grape jelly to choose from when all I wanna do is eat a PB&J. haha I have a few of the York Audio packs and are really happy with them. Great quality, simple choices.
Basically, you don't need to use a power amp sim. But it will also be good to use it after amp sim, for example TPA-1 by ignite. Thank you for the comment!
@@dmitriykatzenkonig6146 Both OK, I think. Sometimes it is good to use EQ for reduce high freq peak or cut bass. There is no rule. You can do as you like for good sound!
York audio allll the way! Just discover yesterday and love it! 3 - Ml Soundlab / 2 - Ownhammer / 1 - York audio
This is great! This helped me decide on buying York Audio. I currently use Ownhammer but now I'm definitely making the switch! Super helpful!
Thank you for the comment! York Audio's IR is awesome. I strongly recommend!
Great video! The York and OwnHammer ones seem the best to me.

For me the ownhammer always sounded the same... the York ones are way more flexible, even better that the ML ones in my opinion
Thank you for the great video! Made up my mind and bought the one from York Audio! Cheers

Really nice comparison. I usually really like OwnHammer but it didn't hold up as well in this lineup.
Thank you for the comment! I recommend YORK AUDIO and ML sound Lab!
Me personally mix the ml and York together and it sounds massive
York Audio IRs are so good 🤘🏻

Man, I thought the Celestion one is my least favorite of the bunch. The other ones are pretty usable.
Thank you for the comment!
Sorry if my question might sound stupid, but do I have to use a power amp or power amp simulation with these IRs?

@@strattakk3862 So, once again. If I load these IRs into my CAB M+, should I have the PA section in it on or off?

@@dmitriykatzenkonig6146 What are you running before the CAB M+? The answer will depend upon that.

ml kills
Valhallir makes the most realistic sounding impulses, everything else sounds digital to me.
