I got a pair of these at Smokey Mountain Knife Works for $100. They were on sale so i picked them up I wish i had bought 3 pair of them. They are good looking and comfortable!
@Kylerailey8508 it’s always a score when you get a great deal on good boots especially when you’re at Smokey Mountain Knife Works. Then you get to buy a new knife to.
Sorry if you asked me on a different vid and I missed it. The J130 has been discontinued unfortunately, but Carhartt offers an "updated" version style 104050. If you pull that up on Carhartt's website you will see in the description they actually mention it being a new version of the J130. I did a comparison of the two you can read at this url if you like: workwearcommand.com/j130-jacket-vs-104050/ I personally like the old J130 better. The two versions are similar, but there are definitely differences which I discuss in detail in that article above. This new version uses a pre-washed shell (as did the J130), but the J130 was also micro sanded which broke it in even more and gave it that sorta rustic look (and soft feel). This new version is not micro sanded. Not entirely sure why they dropped the J130 as it was very popular. Might have been cost to produce. If you like that soft, pre-washed feeling of the J130, I have found the Dri Duck Cheyenne jacket to have almost the exact same feel regarding the outer shell. It's a bit cheaper than Carhartt. Quality is *good* but I didn't think it was quite as warm as the J130. Might be able to check ebay for a J130. Good luck
Thank you for sharing! I agree they are comfortable 👍

This comment might never be seen, but is Chippewa sizing similar to red wing?
I purchased these boots a few years ago, good quality and comfortable. Mine were made in Vietnam; are they still made there?
I believe so but not certain. They are not made in the USA I do know that.

Do they have a shank?
The boots I featured in the video use a composite shank. I briefly discuss it at 8:50 in the video if you wish to see it.
We want to work with you, how do we contact you?
Nice, you cut 250$ boots for 90 views on UA-cam?
Yes - this video should pay for itself in about 35 years...
Why be an ass. I thank him for his time and enjoyed the video.
Guy made a good
