Having the screen go dark is good if people are parked at night and don’t want anything projected. Allow you to enjoy the night sky through the glass roof

Awesome video. Can't wait until it gets pushed to my R1T. I am still hoping and waiting for MESSAGING notification and the ability to send and receive. I know it will come this year. The one (or 2, 3) things I want to see is:
1. The ability to move the SPOTIFY play screen from the right side to the drivers side. I am a tall guy but I have to lean over and forward or reverse a song or PODCAST
2. Speaking of Spotify, it would be useful and amazing if we don't have to log out in order to have the other driver (my wife) have to log in. Our taste in music is 180 degrees total opposite. It is a pain because if we are driving and she wants hers, I have to pull over and logout and she has to log in. I would love to see it attached to the PaaK.
3. I already have shortcut on my iPhone to open/close the door and hood etc. It would be nice to have a native app for the Apple Watch.
Other than those requests, Rivian keeps getting better and better.....and dare I say faster than Tesla updates (from what I hear).

That was a BIG help. I couldn't find car wash mode, but thanks to your video I got it. I had to manually drive through the car wash today as we couldn't find it. Now I won't look like an idiot next time I go to the car wash thanks to you.
Jose - thanks for the update. I always look forward to them.
Rivian - would prefer to see more net new features (thanks for the new ride setting), rather than new ways to access existing features. Suggestions include: cruise control resume (please), ability to set proximity locking and gear guard to off by saved locations (similar to when home), more infotainment apps, improved management of saved FM stations, such as ability to rearrange and manage by groups like Home, Away 1, Away 2, self-parking and significantly expanded pre mapped roads for Driver+.
That's a list! All I want is an off button so the car stops waking itself up for hours while it's parked.
Ditto on "cruise control resume (please)!" Amazes me this common feature was not there to begin with and is still missing.
I would also add the option to turn off adaptive cruise control (ACC) and just have good ole fashion cruise control (CC). When the cameras used for ACC become unavailable (e.g. snowy conditions or sun shining into lens), it would be nice to have regular CC to fallback on. It's very frustrating on road trips to have ACC become unavailable and have no CC at all.
I just want a CONTACT phonephone book that isn't ALEXA. I don't use Alexa and probably never will. Also, MESSAGING/MESSAGES would be nice as well....and for the heck of it....CarPlay/Android Auto would be nice....but that might never happen....just thought I would mention it......LOLOL

Dying for location based mirror folds. We already have location based garage triggers. I figured this one would be easy.

Now, just an UI option to open the charge port door without unlocking the vehicle would be nice in the phone app.
I needed this today when I had no hands and wanted to open the charge port haha
That would be nice...or maybe after you unplug it waits a few seconds and automatically closes. I know that sounds dumb, but it would be nice to unplug, take the plug back to the station and by time you get back, the door is closed.

Weren’t we supposed to get updated rear screen functionality AND apps like Netflix at the end of Summer 2023? Rear screen remains essentially useless. Rear AC functionality remains very limited. Still love the truck!
Id really like them to add RGB interior lighting option in the menu. We know its possible cause they gave us red lighting for the interior during Halloween

If they are waiting for a subscription, I hope they don't make it outrageously priced. The only subscription model I am interested in is RAN charging. I am in California and we are getting a lot of RAN's and it would be nice to get something like what Tesla has.

We could really use more RAN sites on the I-95 corridor here on the east coast. I’m publishing a YT video tomorrow morning (@EV_OG) about an I-95 holiday road-trip using CCS networks. RAN was the least expensive and the only one with no waiting.
Rivian is likely waiting to cut off the free cell data they provide. Once they charge for data I'd imagine the streaming apps will offered shortly after
Do you see that dark space at the top of the screen. The digital clock is to the far right? Is there anyway to move the clock to the middle instead to the far right
Jose, do you happen to know if I’m going to be able to drive around with my parking lights on instead of the auto lights? I’m only asking this question because there was a recall with the Canadian vehicles that the auto lights have to stay on.

Still waiting for an option for HVAC only when ignition is on. It's an adventure vehicle. I load and unload stuff all the time and don't want to manually intervene all the time to avoid heating and cooling the world, and cycling the compressor.
Is soft mode softer than it used to be?
