I personally think the Darknut design was at its best in Twilight Princess. They look like the Zelda 1 and 2 design but with the "sick armour" dial turned up to 255. And you beat through that armour like the ultimate cool guy? Nothing more awesome.
In OoT and MM they're Iron Knuckles. fun fact, if you use a camera hack you can see inside an Iron Knuckle and see a brainwashed Gerudo. that includes the miniboss one that has a different look and that specific one is revealed as a brainwashed Babooru.
12:12 I've always wondered why the Darknut in the Tower of the Gods gets its own figurine. Also, Darknuts are my favorite enemy, especially the ones in Wind Waker and Twilight Princess.
I think tears of the kingdom needed a Darknut world boss too, a clearly more intelligent and strategic enemy would be a great contrast to the other more animalistic enemies.
I love how in Wind Waker you can cause friendly fire with Darknuts. For some reason the straps on the armor kinda look like an hourglass if you look hard
@@JavelinAngel1295 The Lynel is one of only two enemies I never got, because I never knew that it existed until Link and I fought that shadowy Lynel in the final dungeon. The other enemy was that yellow one-eyed monster that acts like a Thwomp, which I never got because I didn't know how to kill it.
Wow, Vaati must have been paying his Darknuts something extra given how lethal the ones in Four Swords seemed to be...that, and how the three he spawn in before facing him in the Minish Cap either led to me getting the bad ending or reducing my health way too small before fighting the guy himself.
1:02, 3:01, 3:45 All of these are Iron Knuckles. I can see why that’d be confusing though, don’t think there’s ever a direct mention of their names in game
I always wondered when you first find approach a Iron Knuckle in Ocarina of Time Majora's Mask before you start slashing hitting them! Are they asleep sitting or standing?
I wanted to see a Darknut in Tears of the Kingdom, but sadly no. Zelda would use her powers to make some Darknuts fight for her and alongside Link to fight evil 👿!
@yatanogarasu It makes a world of difference when there are rooms that are swarming with Darknuts that can't be hurt from the front and can turn your way at any time when you're trying to strike. As I said, this player only made it _look_ easy.

In Zelda 2 they are also called Iron Knuckles
Unlike Dark Nuts they are fully Human, maybe enhanced, while Darknuts are Members of the Demon Tribe
@Chris-gx1eiI was gonna say this myself. Also cool theory, I buy it.
Babooru lmaoooo

@@mikegalbraith9999 I think it's basically any darknut without shield, not like the wizrobe from wind temple which is a missable one

Botw getting Sheikh Tech Darknut.
While ToTK gets regular variants.
They already have a darknut in the game
I love how in Wind Waker you can cause friendly fire with Darknuts.

In echos of wisdom I used the lvl 3 darknut almost always. I called him Norman.
Yeah, the Darknuts in that game were really handy.
Better than the Lynel imo.

The only thing stronger is the lynels and trust me that thing is op in echoes of wisdom
That's a ridiculous darknut name.

Darknut: Ganon doesn't pay me enough for this
at 3:05 for OoT those are Iron Knuckles, not Darknuts, same for MM
But can they Iron Knuckles of Ocarina of Time/Majora's Mask be part of Darknuts?
@@MarkFendy-sw7hn no, they are both there own entity, as both enemy's are separate in the original 1986 game
Beat me to it. They do look similar in some ways, though.
Ironknuckle is what they were called in Zelda 2.
Twilight Princess best Zelda ever ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️🔺🔺🔺🔺🔺🔺🔺🔺
They seem like a hard time to deal with in Four Swords 💀
3D did dark nuts so much better
The Twilight Princess ones are broken
Fun fact: in Wind Waker the darknuts can make a spin attack/hurricane spin
Wind waker is so awesome 🔥

Question. Are the Darknuts in OOT and MM........Female?
Yes, they’re brainwashed Gerudo. They’re also called Iron Knuckles.
How the earlier 2D top down make the Darknuts so weak...
Try actually fighting them, my man. Whoever was playing the original LoZ in this vid was almost inhuman in not taking a single hit.
@@Deined Yeah, but 2 strikes to kill one? Pretty quick compared to 3D.

How come first Zelda is played almost perfectly but any other 2D game is played by a drunkard ?
cool
I prefer Zelda's to be more realistic than cartoonish like this last one 🤣🤣🤣 such a beautiful series ends up in such decline
I love your vids, i'm sub, pin PLEASE!!😇😇💝
