thank you so much for sharing this! My surgery is in august and they are removing my right ovary with the cyst and my uterus as well. I am scared to death!!

How long do you have to wear the braces on your teeth what time do you have to be in the surgery what kind of surgery she going to have you need help to go to the restroom to pee how long is she going to be in the hospital room day need to wait for the doctor
Did they happen to tell you how big the cyst was? Sorry if you said it in the video and I missed it. I'll be having this done soon too and mine is 8cm and I'm super nervous. Also, did they put a catheter in your urethra? The peeing part of it is freaking me out! I'll def be asking my surgeon about that beforehand. Thanks for sharing your experience btw!
Pretty sure it was 8cm, except mine turned out to be a tumor which made it a little more difficult to take out. That’s why my scar is a little bigger than normal. They do put a catheter in but not until I was asleep and by the time I woke up they had already taken it out! It felt a lot like a UTI but slowly got better! Dont be nervous, biggest advice is to rest rest rest. Let others help you!!
Hope you are doing better. Why are your incisions not covered ? They should have waterproof cover on them! I just had my surgery on Tuesday and i had to stay in hospital till Friday so i only got home yesterday i couldn't walk until day 3. Ive been in so much pain the first 3 days i was having morphine! My cyst was 5cm i have 3 incisions and my dr put proper waterproof covers on them. I still can't walk normally and still in a bit of pain from gas which is also in my back as well as abdomen.

Hi dear, I hope this helps. I just had my surgery done on the 20th of September 2024. I had very heavy periods. Very Large blood clots. I had lower back pain. I felt dizzy and nauseous before and after my periods. I felt very tired and pain. Also kept spotting after periods for a week. I thought I was going crazy. I finally reached out to a gynaecologist and it turned out I had a cyst on my right ovary. I also had a bulky womb. And some small fibroids. They told me my cyst was about 4cm but when they did the surgery. It actually was bigger. I'm a really petite woman. My cyst was a solid cyst. And it was effecting my life. I also decided to take out both fallopian tubes since I am finished with having kids. I'm in my late 30s. My advice is. If it's affecting your life. Then please don't put it off. Get the right treatment. I feel free and healthy again. I was scared of surgery but thank God it was for my own good. I'm on day five. I'm still in pain but slowly getting better. But I know I did the right thing. I hope this helps. I'm praying for you in Jesus name. All the best.
@@deepikaschannelabudhabi1487 I am doing so much better, thank you for asking! I am so sorry to hear about your cyst. We watched my cyst for a couple of months before making a decision. We watched to see if it would grow, shrink or just go away on its own. Unfortunately it was growing each time we saw it so we decided surgery was best for us.
@@kedsavanhdalathib7320 She did not. The hospital did a phone pre op basically asking generic questions and one of the questions was if I had any metal in me. I told them I have braces and they just said good to know and to make sure to tell the doctor the day of surgery.
Thank you for your quick response, I have an appointment with my doctor this coming Wednesday for the ovarian surgery, and he told me to remove my brakes before I get to do it🥲
You’re right, feeling how it began to shrink and eventually disappear within 2 months was so liberating. I followed the steps I mentioned, and within the first 2 weeks the bloating was gone. I simply go'ogled Tilly Strankten's Ovarian Cyst Guide and it's like I hit the feel-good reset button lol.
@@munz816 8cm. It actually turned out to be a tumor! A cyst is squishy and easier to pull out of a small incision, since mine was a tumor is was a hard mass so they had to make the incision bigger to be able to get it out.
