This collab cements that Nick is indeed just playing a character. Nick makes so many self aware jokes and genuinely gets caught off guard and laughs at one of Caleb’s jokes. They pull off funny stunts together and have genuine and funny little conversations. Nick even pretends to be mad about all the UA-camrs making videos about him and how he wants to sue but says he doesn’t have time for that. How can anyone not see how obvious Nick is trying to make these jokes?
These past few videos have really shift my perspective of Nick. I guess it's kind of sad realizing that yeah, his content is a character and thus he has sacrificed his health for content. But at the same time, he seems like an actual funny and interesting individual behind his rock solid disguise, and i find it fascinating how well you two have gotten along even though Nick refuses to openly admit it (perhaps being in character). At this point, i just hope Nick can be comfortable with his lifestyle, and want to applaud Caleb for shining a new (positive? idk, but at least it isn't negative) light on such a seemingly hopeless man.
And it's even more sad once you realize that he would probably still keep on doing mukbang videos which is of course detrimental to his health, and you have to remember that this man literally said that all of us are peasants (this man has comedic elitism). And even someone estimated the exact date on where he would die for godsaks. But if he did actually someday stop his monstrosity, he could well turn around his reputation uno reverse card mode. Nik makes me feel a torn person for him.

yeah. honestly i don't understand how it took people super long to realize that he's acting- but i guess it amounts to how much you actually pay attention to him. i found him funny pretty much from the beginning. i think the over the top man child behavior was hilarious. the fake tantrums and everything between is just genuinely entertaining to me. so the more i watched, the more i saw character breaks in his content. his mukbang videos tend to be fairly long, iirc about 30 minutes to an hour depending. if you actually sit there and watch through (which i understand why people wouldn't, not their type of content, dislike him from what little they see, etc.) he has several moments where he's just being himself. he's honestly a great content creator and entertainer, and i'm really happy to see these videos with him and caleb. their dynamic is amazing and i really truly hope they both had as much fun as they seem like they did.

I'm new to your channel, but have been overall enjoying it. These videos with Nick really show how grounded you are as a person to be able to have such civil collaborations with someone you've made incredibly clear that you're not very fond of. It's also nice to see Nick interacting with someone who seems to be treating him pretty well and just trying to help him have some fun.

It’s so refreshing to see him as a slightly normal human being, not someone in an over-dramatized character for UA-cam. His reputation has changed for the better greatly. It’s great that Oomp has Been able to do that for him. I do think he still needs help, but it is possible to get there. I could write a whole book on how Nik has destroyed his own life. Just imagine a video where he isn’t in his dramatic character, and he’s on a weight loss journey to restore his life. I wonder if behind the camera he ever regrets all that he’s done to himself. Going from a normal human being, acting normal, and feeling great, doing a sport, not being legally disabled of the fat in his body. It’s upsetting that he would do that to himself. if he stayed away from drama and switched up his content i think it would change a lot of opinions about him. i've always viewed him as a stain on the platform. these vids with oomp showed me he's quick witted and hilarious.

It’s so refreshing to see him as a slightly normal human being, not someone in an over-dramatized character for UA-cam.
His reputation has changed for the better greatly. It’s great that Oomp has Been able to do that for him. I do think he still needs help, but it is possible to get there.
I could write a whole book on how Nik has destroyed his own life.
Just imagine a video where he isn’t in his dramatic character, and he’s on a weight loss journey to restore his life.
I wonder if behind the camera he ever regrets all that he’s done to himself. Going from a normal human being, acting normal, and feeling great, doing a sport, not being legally disabled of the fat in his body. It’s upsetting that he would do that to himself.
