I believe that the current Nikocado is a persona he wore for too long. His persona had some aspects of his real personality when he first started, but it slowly devolved into being a charicature that dramatisizes his more negative personality traits to make his content better. But he wore it too long to a point that the persona took over his actual real personality and that's why he acts almost like a caricature of his actual personality all the time because it consumed his life. It's a shame, because he can't change his current personality or else he loses all his income revenue that he needs to pay rent or for food (which is where most of his money goes to, for content that is.)
One was right when he realized Oompa had bought him the scooter and Takis. You could see his brain scrambling to comprehend the scenario and then retaliate
I think it's funny how every once in a while you can see an actual human reaction from Nick before he rewrites himself into the UA-camr personality that has enveloped his public persona to the point where he dares not break it.
Theres a military joke. . . “A lost pilot landed at Area 51, low on fuel he gets out surrounded by military police, he explains they fuel his plane, give directions to Vegas and the typical “You were never here.” Warning. Well next day same pilot lands, but theres another person in the plane, military police surround him again, he gets out says “Do what ever you want to me, but my wife is in the plane, you gotta tell her where I was last night!”
I don't know if I should clap for his brilliance at creating such an amazing character with incredible consistency, or if I should be scared of how insane a person can become and that anyone could be this derranged
Funnily enough, you could argue the same thing about myself too. The only major difference is that i'm playing a byronic hero, while Nick is playing the vice versa.
This interview feels entirely scripted, while at the same time completely improvised and off the walls random. They both seem like they're great friends but also seem like their mortal enemies. Nothing makes sense, yet this goes exactly the way you'd expect it to. Truly, a work of art this video is
Picture NIkocado's final form, in which he is a gigantic flowing mound of fat. His fat would be rippling down and he'd be flowing around like lava. SImilar to the Like Like from Zelda except with Nikocado's revolting slug head emerging from the top. Imagine you arrive home one day, and right there in your living room, you see a gigantic pulsating blob of fat. You hear a sick sloshing sound from his massive, overworked digestive system. Then his head squirts out from the pool of fat and lets out grotesque roar. Imagine all of that as vividly as you can. That's what I'm doing right now.
Nik broke character at 12:52 out of genuine surprise and then quickly snapped back into it, and it was so strange seeing him slip out and then realise, and put it back on again.
He does it a few times if you watch enough of his videos, lol. When the camera's on, he's at work and I think we all have work personas but his is a character. I've seen him go through the drive thru being super respectful
As much of a wildcard as Nik is, he is highly self aware though. Like he 100% knows what's going on, and he puts on this 'possible' facade for the viewers
I really like to think he's actually getting proper medical attention from doctors who keep him alive, while he's morbidly obese just to keep up a UA-cam persona. Dude makes million from being a literal irl Disney villain, so i wouldn't be surprised if he suddenly vanishes from the internet, and returns like two years later, skinny, to explain it all.
they're honestly a great duo. nikocado comes off disturbingly bizarre in most of his content, but oompa playing the straight man levels things out to be hilarious.
12:53 I love how you can tell he broke character at how flabbergasted he was, but then he remembered what he was doing and had to get back in character
Honestly, the things I enjoy the most with this video is the few seconds nik actually is himself. Some of the reactions and things he says you can tell are real before he switches back to the bit. He seems like a genuinely nice guy with the mask off and I bet when he wasn’t on camera you two got along great
Nick Is genuinely an entertainer. I use to not be able to stand seeing him because of the cringe but looking passed the cringe you see a man who is actually funny and goes to great lengths to entertain people. You can weirdly see a bit of humanity pass through Nikocado as he's talking to Oompaville but it's as if he's throwing it away at the moment of realizing
@@GhizzyGhazza yeah, thats a very clear point, but just the things oompa does and how they interact, if nik was...mentally as he portrays his character you just wouldnt do that stuff, there is an evident closeness and play in their actions, which is kinda endearing, its just two people messing around while putting up an act
The bits when he breaks character actually shows he's such a chill person. The character he puts on is so incredibly elaborate and I'm completely here for it now!
This video has done so much for Nik in terms of humanising him, for me personally, honestly before this video I would turn off mentally when I heard his name, but after this video I can say I genuinely enjoyed every second.
I'm convinced that nick is putting on one of the greatest acts in internet history. Playing up this extreme cartoonish character and sticking with it to the point of ruining his health and physical well-being. I'm amazed how he doesn't break character
I was hoping he’d break character and open up, man that was wild. Confusing, but hilarious and I hope you are ok oompa. I know what it’s like being around people like that. It’s almost as rough as the physical labor I do, mentally taxing being on your toes and worrying everything is going ok.
I feel like the kayfabe is only going to stop once he retires and we'd have to be ridiculously lucky to have him do an interview a year after stops posting on social media.
I mean, why wouldn't he be smart? It was obvious from the get go that he was acting. He has fame, he can entertain and he earns money with his shenanigans.
