These kinds of videos don't do the live performances any justice. I saw it last night and it was phenomenal from start to finish.
Actually it just came to the West end they will need to get use to the theatre then instead to do live performances for some while but we can get some clips of this amazing casts but it will do live performances soon someday

I love this musical but I couldn’t stop giggling once I realized how far up the pie box jumps when they’re both hitting the table 😂
This is not what the musical is like, I saw it on Saturday and it was incredible. The singing (apart from oge) was faultless and beautiful. The chemistry between the leads was definitely there. So happy I was able to see David Hunter and Katherine Mcphee, if could afford it I would see it many more times. I highly recommend.

I saw it last week and was blown away. Obviously McPhee was astonishing and Jack McBrayer was a laugh riot, but the real revelation was Laura Baldwin as Dawn. I know everyone will have opinions, and some amazing women have sung that role, but her performance as Dawn was (to my eyes and ears) just so much better than the videos I’ve seen on UA-cam or listened to on the original cast album.
God I love “Soft Place To Land” the way the lighting changes when they blow the flour and the soft delicate movement throughout the song I’m sobbing

Since it opened it London a couple weeks ago, I've seen it twice and sobbed both times. Beautiful musical. Love the whole cast - just need an album now!!
First of all, David Hunter's cute little lisp has me crushin' hard! Second, I'm not a Kat McPhee fan in general but I think she's a great Jenna. Third of all, I love this show so much and wish I could see it in the West End!

I saw this show about a year ago with this cast and it was truly incredible! I was also lucky enough to get to go backstage. An unforgettable experience! Loved every second.

The choreography has become less and less sexual since Jessie Mueller left. 😂 If you watch videos of her and Drew Gehling singing this song, she fully LEAPS onto the table. It is insane.
Saw this yesterday and it was very sexual for Bad Idea and the Reprise - don’t worry 😂
They hid some things at the dress rehearsal. Like Dawn's real outfit at the last song

His singing is so bad that is actually adds to the character. And Laura’s chemistry with him IS OUT OF THIS WOOOOORLD!

Was at the show last night !!! Absolutely INCREDIBLE !!!! The cast was amazing, each character was fantastic, the talent amazing, brilliant chemistry, LOVED IT !!!! 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼😍😍😍

Constant movement + Choreography and spatial awareness between them + The vocal ability required to sustain the unrelenting pace, phrasing and structure of basically every component of the song, on pitch with perfect tone + Finally topped of with craaaazy harmonies, key changes, runs and vocal dynamics!! WOW 🤩 💯 🏆

I don't know when this was shot but I saw the show 2 days ago and it was 193929x better than this, like hands down phenomenal! Both in terms of vocal and acting performance! I'm assuming maybe this was a special press rehearsal or something, idk? Because they really go full out live :)

The Bad Idea wasn’t as, energetic? As it usually is I don’t know if it was just that they were tired are whatever but it seemed a little slow. Now I haven’t seen it live so I’m not sure if it was just the performance or what.
I came to see if they had English accents or if did the southern American twang!

Why does it feels like they are all uncomfortable. The Bad Idea wasnt sexual, the soft place to land is a snoozefest and the opening up feels like they are all trying so hard not to mess up the choreography and it cost them the emotion. Is this a dress rehearsal or something? It paints Katherine a bad light.

Seeing as this was a press release I don't think they had all the costumes sorted. On the video of their first curtain call on Instagram you can see all the waitresses have changed into the outfits you'd expect them to wear in the finale.
I swear her entire choreo for Bad Idea looked forced and I'm just wondering where all the chemistry went

Lilibet I saw this on west end second performance and I can tell you now it’s was amazing! I feel like all casts are each incredible in their own special way, videos never compare to the kick of a live show :)

They DEFINITELY have amazing chemistry live! Maybe they were just feeling uncomfortable knowing they were going to be reviewed about everything they did (right and wrong). But I saw it live last week, and this video doesn't do it justice how amazing this cast was and how amazing the chemistry between Kat and David actually is!

Oh man. This is...bad. the accents are bad, there's no chemistry, the singing feels flat and emotionless, katherine's wig a mess. Bad Idea especially made me cringe extremely hard. It just...isn't good.
See it live first, then judge :)
