Bob, Another great review! You are one of the only knife reviewers who addresses the true uses a particular piece is designed for. I’ve been carrying my anomaly, not cord wrapped, front left of belt with the Bastinelli Spade in the right front pocket. Bastien makes phenomenal pieces that are discrete and comfortable to carry. Hope you are well.
Thank you Stu, I hope you and yours are well too! I agree about Bastinellis, they are discrete, (seemingly) effective and plain old beautiful to look at and hold.
Nice blade that I'm considering getting the stock version of and wrapping myself. Let's not forget that this blade is also perfect for straight out jabbing, pakal style, along with the ripping motion. Great size, as well, for all martial blade and FMA techniques. Thanks for the overview and close-up, Bob! 👍⚔
Not sure how i missed this one. I’ve been looking for one in either a double edge or custom. But all I can find are the standard models. I may have to get it then have it wrapped. Awesome video brother!🍻
Jason Daniel Stone the Jambaya is a wicked knife. I have an old one from Oman that stays on my wall. I never thought to world it in reverse grip but that makes sense. Thanks for the info!
Just an update for anyone curious. I contacted Bastien Coves regarding a wrap for an Anomaly and it is NOT available in a cord wrap. Nor does he seem to offer it so if you are wanting to have it wrapped you will need to inquire with a third-party.
Just a Gimmick Like Most Bastinelli stuff. Even for a Pical this Blade Geometrie is crep As long Not Double edged its totaly USELESSSSSSS Everybody who talks however positive about this gimmick has totaly no clue about knives or got money from Bastinelli.

My pleasure, Dave, you need one of these! I'd love to see your cord wrap too.

Thank you Man! I reached out directly to Bastien through his IG to request the wrap. It ups the price a little but I think it is well worth it!
I was wondering where you get the custom sheath?!
Beautiful
Thank you! Cheers!
Maybe check out the UtilClip Ultilink. Great way to exchange and mount different knifes, and at adjustable angles
Thanks for the tip!
That needs to be dubbled edge👊🏽
That blade shape will be nice in dubble edge
How can I order and what is the cost of one ?
Awesome knife! I love the Pikal concept. I believe some Middle Eastern knives were used in a similar manner.
Cool-I don’t know that! I will have to look into those knives... great, another obsession on the way!
@@TheKnifeJunkie Yeah, some of the Jambiya's are sharpened only on the inside curve. They can also be sharpened on both sides
@@TheKnifeJunkie I think they are held and used in a similar manner as the Pikal, with the curved point facing in.

@@TheKnifeJunkie My pleasure!
Hey I love this review! could you please do a review on the "PiKa" from Bastinelli there's not many videos out there on it
Thank you sir, I do not have the Pika (yet?) but when I do, rest assured I will post a video on it!
@@TheKnifeJunkie Awesome!
WHO MADE THE SHEATH??
Got one and sharped the other side as well. Thank me later 😉
OK, where do I get one?
I yust both it and its wery good knife with bad intentions 😂

I bet some goon tape would take care of that...
It's useless until Not Double edged
You NEED to put a serration on it
It's not useless double-edged if you ACTUALLY know how to use it.

Tell me you have no clue what you're talking about without actually telling me you have no clue what you're talking about.
