- A scene from "When, Jenny? When?", a 1979 episode of INSIGHT, starring THE BRADY BUNCH's Maureen McCormick as a tormented high school slut and Olivia Cole as her counselor.
I vividly remember this. I thought at the time (and can see here) what an amazing performance Maureen McCormick gave. She was an incredibly gifted actress. It's a shame she didn't break into the big leagues.

I grew up watching her on the Brady Bunch. We're the same age. I heard about about this movie, but I had never seen any clips on it. Thanks for posting it. I think this was around the time Maureen was getting into heavy cocaine use that really screwed up her life and career. Read her book, she's been through alot. I wish her the best in the future.

I've never seen this or at least I can't remember. You know how tv stations now play the same movie over and over why don't they come up with Chanel 50plus and have like the Brady Bunch movie blitz. Show every movie that had one of the six kids in it, like this one. Show all the 70s movie of the week extravaganza all the old made for tv movies.Come on there's more of us boomers today and I think since most of what's on now we don't care for, a lot would watch. Throw in classic commercials:)

Even with her problems she still was very pretty. Good that she finally got herself together and things worked out fine.
Hopefully she has. it's sad that she got into heavy drugs to start with, i mean she seemed like such a good role model in the 70's.
Final Limits the whole industry is really plagued by lots of bad influences and people too. It must be the rare actor/actress that doesn't get dirtied by the "business" somehow. That being said I would have been very interested to hear from her parents and the parents of the other Bradys'. But I don't believe there is any real interview footage with them, I can think of.
It's sad. it happens way too often.
Final Limits Considering that was the early
70s, I can't image being a child star today. It must be scary. When you look at people like Amanda Bynes, Miley Cyrus, the Spears sisters,
ect..all screwed up...the only one that appears to have avoided the worst is Christina Aguilera. Just as amazing that she is such a big star too.
Probably strong values and family ties help.
I wouldn't say that Jaime Lynn spears "screwed up" she just got pregnant at a young age. (my cousin got pregnant when she was only 15 back in 2005, and she's a great mother to her now 10 year old daughter) the little girl is a brat, but I still love her. but back on topic, yeah, Brittney was a mess, Miley comes off as an attention whore. Amanda Bynes was just plain sad and scary.(Though she seemed to have cooled off, FOR NOW at least) I happy that Hilary Duff, Alexa Vega. and a couple of others didn't go down that road. (I respect those two greatly)

I like Maureen as much as the next person, but this is pretty amateurish acting. And the way they're flinging around those gestures, you'd think they were in a silent movie.

Does Snooky even act? I only heard of her from the reality show and the only Kardashians I know that’s acted was Kourtney on a brief stint on One Life To Live. Lindsay Lohan Amanda Bynes and Miley Cyrus are amazing actresses/singers you don’t have to tear girls down to build one up.

Sorry, but this is just overacting 101. She's trying too hard and it's painful to watch. She isn't acting from inside, she's acting from her mind and what she thinks she's supposed to do. My husband used to take acting lessons in the same class with her and said she struggled to be real.

Even if that were true, why were you compelled to write it here, especially after all she's been through? What have you created in life that we can all scrutinize? What has your husband the master thespian done? List his IMDB. Maureen was trying to have a career after "The Brady Bunch." That whole cast was PERFECT. The show has lived on. Whether she was ever able to make that transition is immaterial. At least she TRIED.
