Thank you so much! I just bought the standard skate tool and i had no idea what 2 of the 3 tools on it were for. This helped me out a bunch 🤙 Cool video dude
Ooooh so that circular metal part with the cylinders in the + shape is to re-thread stuff! I was dying to know what it was but was having trouble looking it up since I didn't know how to describe it to a search engine. Thanks for the info!🤙
I like the video. I myself, choose to have a tool box in my car full of things. I have a UNIT T Tool and of course the best skate tool ever made; the Silver skate tool. But I like to have extra bearings, shields, wheels, grip tape, shield remover, bearing cleaner, extra pair of lavender Nora Vasconcellos chino pants, etc. I really like the Silver tool though, if I had to go all in one it would be that tool.
Hello!! Unfortunately, I have not tried this tool out on roller skates. My guess is that parts of this tool WOULD work, but I am not 100% sure that every part of the tool would work correctly. Sorry!
Stupid question maybe, but is there a difference between Y tools and T tools beyond the shape? I've seen both and they seem to have the same things otherwise, but I'm not sure.
No questions are stupid here! 😄 There is not really a huge difference between a Y-tool and a T-Tool. Some may argue that it is easier to turn and use one or the other. However, other than personal preference, there really isn't any major difference. 👍
Im very sorry for the skateshops next to me but I hate talking to people so I’m going to buy it from amazon.. (the others mostly need over a week for delivering)
I honestly do not know. It doesn't have a brand on it and I got it when I was like 10 years old. Sorry! It's a generic one though. You can find similar ones on pretty much any skate shop website.
Yes, of course! In my other videos I have not recommended buying Skateboard equipment off Amazon for a couple of reasons. 1.). In most cases the Skateboard items sold on Amazon are cheap brands. (That's not ALWAYS the case, but it is often). 2.). It is important to support independent skate shops, so you should always try to buy from a real skate shop before going to Amazon.
Thanks for the response. I was curious if you ever had any problems with fake skate stuff from Amazon. Recently I have heard about fake bones bearings, spitfire wheels, etc
Buyer beware. Amazon sellers are notorious for selling fake Bones bearings. Edit: always support your local skateshop. (Most shops have online stores as well)
Are there any alternatives to the skate tool ? I'm kinda new to skating and I dont have anything to fix my barrings and my parents don't really buy stuff online (we don't have any skate shops near me)
Yes, you can use an allen key, a screwdriver, and a wrench. It is just easier to bring a skate tool around rather than carrying those 3 tools with you when you go skating! Hope that helps!
Not all skate tools are T-tools, they are just the basic ones. 3 washers on each wheel will remove any need for threading tool, especially if used in 2-1 configuration.
I love the spitfire T with the file. So portable and the file is perfect on it. Doesn’t over file.
never leave the house without my 11 year old paris skate tool, still works great to this day, paris in the pocket and an ace tool in my backpack
Thank you so much! I just bought the standard skate tool and i had no idea what 2 of the 3 tools on it were for. This helped me out a bunch 🤙 Cool video dude

Lol…… “lavender Nora Vasconellos chino pants”.
That’s beautiful 🤩
What sizes are the wrenches on a t tool?
Awesome Sk8 tool review! I loved it and I bought it - haha
Hi from Colombia!
Hello! Thanks for watching! Glad you enjoyed it and picked one up yourself! 😁
Uy un parcero por acá, qué chévere
I want to use this tool on roller skates. Can the bearing pusher be used for abec 5 bearings? Theyre 8 mm
Maybe this comment is too far down, but I bought the tool with the bearing pusher and it works for my roller skate abec5 bearings
Thank you i had the same question and you answered it for me I appreciate it ☺️
How do I remove bearings with spacers?
Hello Zachary! Do these tools work the same way for quad roller skates? Thank you! Amazing channel!
Hello!! Unfortunately, I have not tried this tool out on roller skates. My guess is that parts of this tool WOULD work, but I am not 100% sure that every part of the tool would work correctly. Sorry!
@@MidnightSnackSkateboarding makes sense! Thank you so much for your answer
How about light wheels on amazone and bearings?
for the truck issue with the thread you can just make sur the screw is put so that the truck isnt showing and it doesnt get ruined
That doesn't always work. Bolts can easily tighten or loosen when skating. Vibration turns the bolt and your wheel could fall off.
@@pauliewalnuts5241cool, didnt know that since I started not too long ago. Thanks 👍🏼
Ur so underrated
Thanks for the kind words, homie!

Glad I could help out! Thanks for watching!
Can you link somewhere where to get the one you have.. the “big mama” one
Thanks for watching and for the suggestion! The link is now in the description of this video! 😊
Are the skateboard tools the same size
Yes, generally they are all gonna be the same size.
I have a combination of both of them
Im very sorry for the skateshops next to me but I hate talking to people so I’m going to buy it from amazon.. (the others mostly need over a week for delivering)
there's some tools u didn't go over for the big mama skate tool, i have one and i didn't see u go over them in the video

Can you send me the link to the big mama skate tool?
whats the first t tool you used?? the green one

@@MidnightSnackSkateboarding coo, thank you so much!
holding out for the mini keyring version. everyone should have tools in the car regaurdless.
The Ace AF1 skate tool is the best.
i came here because i bought one and didn’t know what the four leaf clover thing was for
I have the problem that the lower part of my t-tool is too big to change the trucks
At 2:33 you advise to not buy skateboard equipment on amazon unless you want to have a bad time. Can you please elaborate on this?
Yes, of course! In my other videos I have not recommended buying Skateboard equipment off Amazon for a couple of reasons. 1.). In most cases the Skateboard items sold on Amazon are cheap brands. (That's not ALWAYS the case, but it is often). 2.). It is important to support independent skate shops, so you should always try to buy from a real skate shop before going to Amazon.

You’re a life saver thank you for this 🙏
What about bones Swiss I got my bones Swiss off Amazon and it was 60 or 70 bucks and it is the same price as every bones swiss
Buyer beware. Amazon sellers are notorious for selling fake Bones bearings.
Edit: always support your local skateshop. (Most shops have online stores as well)
I just recently set up my nephew a skateboard, and I ordered all my new stuff from Amazon, I DO NOT HAVE A LOCAL SKATE SHOP.
There are local shops that ship
make a video about y tools
What if it breaks the first time you use it?
Then thats one cheap skate tool lol
Are there any alternatives to the skate tool ? I'm kinda new to skating and I dont have anything to fix my barrings and my parents don't really buy stuff online (we don't have any skate shops near me)

@@MidnightSnackSkateboarding Thanks 😃
i got a t-tool but i cant see how to use the allen key, i have inline skates that i was hoping to use it for
Some hardware need an Allenwrench instead of a Phillips screw so that's for that
Hey man, question, can I use the skate tool on a penny board?
Hey dude! It honestly depends on the penny board. I would say, yes. However, that's not a 100% guarantee. Hope that helps!
@@MidnightSnackSkateboarding Thanks a bunch, Zach!
Penny boards use standard skate hardware/sizing (so yes)
I have a L wrench a truck tight/loosner on one side wheel tightner on other side
Its kinda heavy but it does the job
The skate tool can penny board or no
I have a skate tool from atlas that's basically a sheet of metal and almost small enough to fit in a wallet aside from the wheel nut
I like the all metal version
I have 4 Ttools and no AllenKeys
Mine came with a free t tool👍🏼
Not all skate tools are T-tools, they are just the basic ones. 3 washers on each wheel will remove any need for threading tool, especially if used in 2-1 configuration.
I like how you assume everyone has a local skate shop
GAMEBOY🎉🎉🎉🎉
On skatehut the t tool is 4 dollars 😊
Are you the balisong guy?....
The BIG DADDY has an added bottle opener, that may not exist. 🙄
The big mama🤗
I found my bearings there bones reds Off Amazon

Wow 40€ in Germany 😕
this guy is not sponsored right?
I am not sponsored! I do run a small online skateshop (Midnight Snack Skateboards) but that is my only association to any skate brand.
Always called it a skate t
I won one for free In a skate contest🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉😂😂😅😅
