That’s how she uses it. She likes it upside down that’s intentional.

I guess it's handy as it never falls out unintentionally.
But it requires a lot of body movement to get in and out , which takes time and might de-stablise the board going into a gybe or similar.
It can also be handy for the lines to fall out if something unexpected happens at speed.
I might give it a try for a laugh next time I out
