You have single-handedly done this.. you are a genius. I cant wait to watch this unfold (with supreme envy!!) lol
Greetings! Great series I will watch in depth...I'm a VFX artist and I was tasked with envisioning a future Martian colony for the company I work for. I did a bunch of research and some things really stood out: Flying vehicle would be very impractical. The air is veeeery thin so airfoils would need to be ENORMOUS or payloads very tiny making them virtually useless (tho I see you are using them inside a pressure dome so they could certainly work there). Likewise, dirigibles are also no bueno - helium has nothing to push against/float on. As for cars, traditional concrete - from limestone which you probably couldn't find on Mars anyway - cannot cure at the low temperatures on Mars, and asphalt doesn't exist (made from tar, a petroleum product) so some entirely new kind of road surface/building material would be needed. Also, rubber can't exist at those temperatures. About the only "rubbery" material that might work is a kind of silicone, and even then this material can only be used in the equatorial regions - In fact, all human habitation would remain in the equatorial areas to avoid the problems that exist from low temps. Steel, other metals...all too brittle. Probably something like Pycrete would work as a road/building material, though something other than sawdust would be used, perhaps just Martian dust mixed with water (lets hope we can find some there or in the asteroid belt, else we'll need to mine Saturns rings. Buildings would need "air" gaps to separate inner structures from outer so outer shells could remain cold, and inner structures could be "warm" so that more traditional materials/construction could be used in the "human accessible" areas, connected with "thermal & air" locks. But otherwise your thinking about problems and solutions is awesome. Kudos! It would be great to see Mars, "problems and solutions" addressed in more mods & DLC.
this... this looks like a whole new game, like the missing link between skylines and surviving mars. i can't properly express how amazed i am by this project.

Your ability to make me sit still and watch 18 minutes of content without skimming is impressive. Your video editing is 10/10 very cinematic
Amazing, It's the next level of C:S creation!! 😮
Been watching the last 5 or 6 episodes today and just subscribed, glad to see it's just as a new series starts!
I hope you bundle all this stuff together and make a mars mod, this looks so fun, i haven't played skylines in years - honestly the dlc doesn't excite me much - but THIS! Magnificent!
I only have city skylines for my xbone and man let me tell you.. you have brought my dreams to reality.. i have always wanted to see a colonizing mars or some off world type story line/dlc.
This is absolutly amazing please dont stop and continue. Such an interesting concept
This series fulfill my space, weird futuristic things and cities skylines love all at once! Thanks man, great job!
Dude! The quality of this channel is amazing.
this... this looks like a whole new game, like the missing link between skylines and surviving mars. i can't properly express how amazed i am by this project.
Holly molly man, the detail, the ammount of work by making ur own assets and the editing. 10/10
Greetings from Hong Kong!!!! Love this idea of a Mars city. That's insane and I love it!

sounds like a good idea for a mod. welcome to the community. thanks for contributing!
the production quality of this video is fantastic
Okay, the high production value of the intro told me this was going to be something out of the ordinary, but face it, none of us had any idea how awesome this would be.
You absolute legend, wok. Keep on moving forward!
Just found your channel. I'm instantly sold, great idea for a series, great voice, amazing content, can't wait to see your channel grow!
