Deja Vu is a stand-alone, not connected to any other storyline, and Maison is the start of a new storyline, so in that sense you're definitely good there 😊
"Maison" is French for "house/home", and it's also an anagram of "somnia" (Latin for "dreams"); and the fandom name for Dreamcatcher is "InSomnia" (literally "in dreams"), and they usually call us "somnia" for short.
It's like they're saying they want to protect their home, and protect us, at the same time. And knowing how corny JiU is she would probably say that us fans _are_ her home 😂

Welcome to the Dreamworld! Deja Vu is nothing short of a masterpiece. It is a beautiful, fragile ballad that kicks your teeth down your throat in the chorus. It is extra difficult to sort out, because it tells the story from two perspectives. You know how even evil people think they are the good guys? This is reflected here. One perspective is Yoohyeon's, who gets corrupted right in the beginning. She thinks JiU is bad (does not want to share power) and backstabs her and kills, imprisons or banishes the other members so that she can rule alone. The other perspective is reality, where we can see JiU be kind to Yoohyeon, but she gets killed for it. It's not exactly a Deja Vu per definition, but I believe this is a commentary on the different perspectives people can have about the same event. The lyrics seem to hint at an abusive relationship, where there are usually two perspectives as well, and the abuser finds excuses to justify their actions.
In "Maison" they are touching on a very important subject. Maison is French for "house", and they are singing about everyone's house, which is our planet. Previously they talked about online hate, now they are tackling an issue that impacts the whole planet and therefore everyone. Climate change is going to affect all of us, and it is already affecting many people. Island Nations will disappear under the ocean ("Save my home in the ocean"). Ice melts in the arctic and displaces people ("Save my home in the polar"). Forests get decimated by corporate greed and habitats get destroyed ("Save my home in the jungle") and disappearing glaciers and snow packs result in even less water for deserts ("Save my home in the desert").
People have a natural tendency to ignore issues that seem to be in the future - but climate change is here, right now. We can't wait anymore, and it is good that Dreamcatcher use their platform to promote change: "Break your habit now!"
Musically I really enjoy the song. Like in BEcause, the rock/metal vibe is dialed back a bit, but it is still there and highly distorted. The more I listen to it, the more Rock I hear though. I especially like how the pre-chorus and chorus seems to appear out of nowhere, the chord progression in the bridge, and the epic end part. LEEZ and Ollounder have done it again, and the members are just brilliant. Respect!
It's also nice that they use an apocalyptic setting to represent what is happening and will happen

I can easily say that Dreamcatcher are the unique side of kpop .. Dreamcatcher gave me very beautiful moments how much I love these girls ♡ I'm insomnia forever.
"Maison" is home in French, and in this mv they are talking about global warming issue, 'save my home in a jungle', 'save my home in a polar', 'save my home in the ocean' & 'save my home in the dessert'. And I don't think that there will be continuation to this mv.
this comeback is the start of a new trilogy! but not sure if the girls will do a direct continuation of what happens in maison
With how stunning the Deva Vu MV is, we see very little of the choreo but it's really really good, I definitely recommend checking out, they have a performance video in the black coats you see near the end of the video.
They just announced that they are restocking the light sticks, as well as their robes. I really didn't need this haha I'm so tempted to get them but my bank account won't appreciate it, I already preordered every version of the new album because I told myself I deserve it with my birthday coming up in a week or two 😔
I follow Dreamcatcher very casually, even though I enjoy there music and messaging.
Concerning Dreamcatcher's messages, I do rely on the fandom and those in the know to clue me in, otherwise, I know I would be lost, or most of the significance would elude me. Sooooooo, thanks for your comments. They were helpful and interesting.
Dreamcatcher has Special Clips which are a catch all of a variety of performance content, covers and lower budget MVs for some of their album tracks. So yes they do have more than 1 MV per album in a way, but only 1 full title track MV each.

For LOOΠΔ, I personally would recommend checking out their solos. They debuted each member one by one with a solo release for each of the 12 members (with varying genres), before they debuted the group as a whole.
