  • I cover an overview of the NTS system, BEST method or KSL shot cycle in this video. In my form series I covered many steps of Coach Lee's system from the eyes of a high level olympic recurve archer, I give you some highlights of each step.
I encourage you to take the time to review the series if you haven't seen all the videos, many people are asking questions that can be easily answered by going through the series. I know it will require some time however there is not an easy button for archery!

You can watch all the best archers a thousand times, god knows I've watched you, Brady Ellison, Kim woo jin to name a few many times but you can't really see what they are doing or why they are doing it. Your channel has cleared many things up for me and will make many archers out there alot better. Brilliant channel.

For me personally, when it comes to stance, I've noticed that the perfect angle is ~30 degrees since it makes me feel back tension slightly more as well as I clear my nose from being punched by the string (barebow string-walking made my nose bleed when I was shooting with lesser angle).

For a beginner/intermediate archer who has been watching your videos for a while now and has heard you explain these things and all various aspects before, it's amazing how much you're blowing my mind here just because of how you're putting the pieces together into one 'shot cycle'. Thanks again for your super helpful videos dude.

I’ll definitely be sure to do that going forward … and hope others heard that and know to support this amazing channel by doing their normal, everyday shopping!!!!

    Hi Jake,
I think this is the most informational video of all. But it is absolutely necessary to watch the other first. If not, it's like the book for a greenhorn, absolutely overloaded with information.
Thank you so much for your work!!!

Two things from your videos have improved my newbie shooting tremendously: 1. From this video, to use your chest for set-up, and 2. From your aiming video, to laser-focus on the target and secondarily on the tip of the arrow (string-walking at 20 m). Excellent stuff!

You mentioned some mental aspects in the end. Are you planning on making a video about the mental part of the sport? I would loooove that! My personal main struggle is that I get super nervous, full of adrenaline and shaky at competitions, and also in many occasions “wanting too much”. Would be great to know how you suggest to practice mental strength and you’re own experience regarding this. Thanks for a great channel, I’ve been watching everything like obsessed 🤓

Could you please explain why you have two different positions: LOAD-Position and ANCHOR-Position? Why you don‘t move directly into anchor-Position while loading? If you would do so, you might have one movement less and reduce one more possible „failure-point“… Or what is the advantage of having a LOAD and an ANCHOR position?
Last but Not least I want to thank you for pushing out all this content that really helps with my Archery-technique! Wishing you the best with greetings from Germany.
