This is actually pretty accurate, I'm a tree farmer myself on my property and so is my neightbor, I love cutting down trees and hauling them around :P

60 k for a log in real life? No,no. Maybe for a full truck load, but I would doubt it

Doesn't make it grow back faster, but kinda explains why those companies prefer cutting down old trees, rather than planting new ones on their own. IRL Cheating exists ;-)

when you don't cut the stump of the tree you can sell it. So you do even get more money out of your trees that you did buy

use fir instead, beacuse it is a longer tree and as the pond ? sign says longer trees are better!

Sell everything you have including your grains you start out with, take out 100,000 loan and buy a scorpion king and place one fir next to the logging camp. Think this only works on normal otherwise you have to make a little money before doing that.
so thats the series over? basically can buy anything you want within 15 mins.

The only thing that's overpowered is the cost of the placeable trees vs what you can sell the lumber in them for. I'm pretty sure Giants will be fixing this minor oversight in a future patch, so enjoy it while it lasts.
Yeah, or they could add a time you have to wait before cutting it down or make it start as a sapling and grow up to the point where it sells for a lot.

i hope you realize that on pc that you make like 3.5 times as mush money as you do on console it normally would take a little over a hour to get 400K.
If you use the Ponsse Scorpion King its more efficient ;)

i too discovered this when planting trees. i usually plant saplings, and thought placing trees would also make them grow from young, but lol. the dev forgot XD
Ha good trick. I thought of it too but its just too easy. I don't want to beat the game too quickly because FS gets boring once you have all the best machines. Just wanted to say though that I am not getting anywhere near as much money per tree. Are you on easy setting or something?

Why dont you cut the branches off it makes it a lot easier and only takes like15 seconds ???
If your going to use what some would call and exploit.. why not just edit the save game and give yourself what ever amount of money you want? It takes like 2 min. Personally I find I lose much of the joy of playing the game doing things like this, but each to their own.

How so? I did that on normal
I wasn't sure about normal, what is the profit on this difficulty ? Doing this on hard gives you -4000 money total.

I just made it to the scoprionking on hard mode, making about 200k per 6/7 tree's in a row now, its worth it on hard mode just make sure to use the right tree's. Its a bit more work doing single tree's at first, but still about 30k per tree profit, with the king you plant a whole row and chop em 1 by 1 driving backwards and forwards making over 200k per row in about 10/15min on hard mode depending on your driving skills. Still cheaty as hell though im not using it to get a nice game going its kinda bull.
You can sell the stups they counts as a tree exampel a fir, and there u have 3500 more :D
i plant forest trees close to the lake and cut them down when they grow
Where are all the mobs? Are you going to build an XP farm? I think you should build an auto egg and cooked chicken farm.

drewbyTV He's saying they should start out as saplings and take in-game time to grow, so that you can't spam it like doc did.
There is a way to plant saplings, the trees he is growing were meant for decoration and not for this.
Hm this is not that efficient....... Yogcast discovered a beter way. Just dont write in you title "A LOT", its not a lot compared to other videos.

Idk rigedog, I came up with that idea myself...I mean, it ain't really rocket science right?;-) The point it, it works and I am sure quite abunch of people who played the game a bit figured that out too.
