66% load of 550hp is 363 hp, for a diesel engine to produce 363 hp burns it about 70 litres per hour so a combined fuel use is 140 litres per hour, maybe you where going down hill.

Are you sure it’s not 40L per side at 2200rpm? (Not total)
Yes. It was misreported. Actually 64lph total. A correction will be published in Boating's June edition.
John can you confirm fuel figures for the Wright 46 ? another video by Boating NZ reported 80 Lph @ 20 Knots ? for the 46@@johneichelsheim4635
64 l/hr is still ~1.25 nm/g, which is pretty good performance for a 52 foot boat at 21.5 nm/hr.
