Thank you Barry! When next springs comes around, I'll definitely be going back for more. On the right day, I really think there is potential to land 100 smallies (if my arms can take it)
Thank you! Nowadays, it seems like attention spans are just getting shorter and shorter. Personally, I enjoy long-form fishing adventures. I try to make sure that there is a balance of action, education, humor, and ideally - a story. It's not easy to achieve all of those things, but I'll keep working to make them better 💯
The fights on that rod are just EPIC. I'm sure I will replicate that catch several times again in the spring, but hopefully without the fish swimming between my legs 😅
Awesome video man. I’m jealous. Thanks for taking us along.

Great video!!!
Thank you 🙏 - Can't wait to go back next spring!
18" small mouth on a tenkara is sick!!!!
It’s a great fight! Some of these battles were 2-3 minutes long - super fun
It's rumored by me, haha.
I finally used my tenkara rod and noticed the line sinks. What type of fly would you recommend for that kind of line?
I’ve been using some streamers in the current - it’s fairly unconventional but super effective. A black leech pattern is deadly for smallies
What kind of line are you using?
DRAGONtail Size 4 Level Line + Scientific Anglers Absolute Fluorocarbon 1x Tippet
Lifetime memory fight at 9:00!
