I haven't read Magic Order 3 or 4 yet, but I recall the mom being set up as having a major story, and it pays off in 3, so I look forward to that.
I don't really like the cover art for Magic Order 3 though. The style is different than 1, 2, and 4.
I want to read 4 just for the art lol.

King of Spies made me go and watch all the Pierce Brosnan movies. I definitely think Netflix is planning on having him, since Millar has specifically mentioned him before in interviews and stuff. I didn't really like the ending though, since the son just kind of has a 180 turn to become a nice guy at the end.
Low key, I like the 4th Brosnan James Bond film, because the space laser is so goofy, and also Halle Berry, and North Koreans being the bad guys is crazy, but yeah, it's not the best. The CGI is bad.
I haven't read The Icarus Society yet, but I know Prodigy is fighting other people as smart as him, so I expect he would have more challenges in that story. I read Magic Order 2, but not 3 and 4 yet.
I like American Jesus 3 because it takes place in current day, but the third issue didn't really stick the landing in my opinion.
Comparing Night Club to shonen manga is a good comparison, although I think the Night Club characters swear a bit more, although I guess fan translation of manga do that too. I thought issue 1 was fine, and issue 2 was just okay, but then I stopped. But then I saw issue 5 (or 6, I forget) was supposed to be good, so I picked back up at issue 3 and 4. I really liked issue 3, it's my favorite issue. Issue 4 is just okay. It's my least favorite issue. Issue 5 I really like the cliffhanger, and I was legit pondering how the story was going to end. Issue 6 is fine, but it was fun to wonder about what was going to happen in it before it came out. Overall, I thought it was interesting to read Millar's dialogue, since I feel like it was the first time in a while that he was writing teenagers, and I had no complaints about it.
I was really excited about the low price for Night Club, but ended up buying all the issues digitally since I'm away from my LCS. I asked my LCS owner before issue 1 came out though, and he thought it was just an "okay" idea. He theorized that Millar thought Night Club was just mid, so he lowered the price on purpose as a gimmick to get people to buy a mid comic, so it's worth the bang for the buck.
