Days 30 to 32: Constanta to Bucharest (6,287 km since Belfast)

We decided to take the motorway from Constanta to Bucharest and we were glad we did because not long after we arrived there was a weather alert (actually two) sent to our mobiles advising us to stay indoors ... and there was an electrical storm with very heavy rainfall immediately after that.
In Bucharest we met up with Marin & Edit who had, for many years, been working with the street children in the city. It was very affecting to hear their testamonies and humbling to visit some of the ones (now adults) that they had worked with, that had lived in the sewers when they were children and before they were all sealed up (see • Romania's 'sewer peopl... ).
