This is just starting and will become more commonplace. To those of you saying "She should just work with AI" cannot fully comprehend what is actually happening. They are thinking of AI like it is a hammer. It's nothing like that. It doesn't need you to will it. It can provide value on its own 24/7 without people working it, and it constantly gets smarter on its own without us. It will be in fact, the perfect worker. They say to survive, you'll need to be using AI, which I agree until it discards you like it did with this young woman. Best thing to do is get out of its way.
There was a SF story years ago where automation took away many jobs putting people out of work. The government had to step in with a guaranteed minimum income. It took away people's dignity and purpose for living.

Ghostwriters merely produce derivative work by copying stuff from multiple online articles and stitching them together, much like a high school writes their paper. You do this kind of job and are then surprised that a chatbot can do the same? Should have done more creative work like original writing.
