Looking forward to seeing you explore the Japanese wilderness, or rather wildness, again. Truth be told I have always have enjoyed your exploration videos, whether in a temperate rainforest in Japan or a searing desert in Southern California (rather ironically called "Siberia"). I go back and rewatch each type once in a while, I pick whichever location to watch depending on my mood!

Yes. I’m glad I was able to find the same manufacturer. I think I threw the old one out. However, I don’t really remember. 🤪

I had to Google the bear bell. Apparently it doesn't really work and is a waste of money from what I have found on my google Internet, searching. I've never used one in person, so I can't honestly say but the experts say it does not work.
It's probably much better than sneaking up on a bear that doesn't hear you coming.
