Just found your channel...amazing content and thanks for doing it. We are looking at PV but notice most airb&b are at least $2,500-$3,000 CAD per month. Is this expected? Any tips on how you guys find deal and do you only book with airb&b?
Thanks for watching and reaching out! Yes, PV is getting expensive unfortunately. We found deals on Airbnb by booking in the off-season for multi-week stays. They deals are getting harder to find, and you may have to compromise on amenities and location. There are some Facebook groups out there for nomads in PV that might be helpful in finding a place. Of note, our most recent video explores whether PV is worth it as a place to live and work, and cost was part of that. We also did a budget video that talks a bit about how we saved money while living and working in Mexico. Hope this helps, and we hope you find something! Let us know.
You're an inspiration. We're currently at the Resort Marival emotion in Vallarta for our vacation, but we've been preparing for the past few years to make our businesses mobile (we were waiting until we were "empty nester" to leave). It will be winter 2024-2025 for us to live the nomadic midlife in Vallarta. Super happy to have come across your UA-cam Channel. We'll be following your adventures. We are from Ottawa ;) Sophie and Seb
Hi guys! Thanks for the kind words. And we hope you're enjoying your trip! So excited to hear about your goal to take your work on the road. It's been good for us so far. We're easing into it with a goal of spending a few months a year on the road for the next few years, and then increasing our away time after that. Stay in touch with how things work out for you!
Ahhhh…..my home away from home. I have a condo in Versalles because that neighborhood is amazing! Enjoy your stay and if you get the chance go see my friend William Carballo the owner of Barcelona Tapas. Not only will you have amazing food but you’ll also have an amazing view of the sunset during dinner. A couple other honorable mentions in Versalles, Oregano and Florios for dinner and Cha for breakfast. Trust me, you’ll thank me later. Have a great time!
Thank you! These are such good recommendations. We’ve fallen in love with this neighborhood. It’s so lovely here! We already know we’ll be returning after our visit is over. And we’ll be sure to check out some of these awesome sounding restaurants if we can. Thank you again!
Ha Ha! I looked at the same apartment in Versalles! But they were building 3 buildings all around at the time. Love your videos! Heading to Morelia tomorrow, and can't wait to check out some of your recommendations!
Morelia was Awesome!!! The food was INCREDIBLE and we went back multiple times to your recommended restaurants and sites to see! Thank you! We live in PV right behind Iglesia de Guadalupe, next time you guys are there, say Hi!! @@HeGoesSheGoes
@@tonjareneehall That's so wonderful to hear! Glad you guys enjoyed it. We miss it down there! And yes, we'll connect next time we are in PV. Stay in touch!
