Brian Edwards I would like to know how this circuit is wired where the pump is replaced by a 220v submersible well pump that has a control box with the required starting and running capacitors. Great video. Thanks.
Thanks for the simple clear video. Is it safe for the mains voltage to be connected to the float switch which goes into the water? Is there any possibility of leakage?
It's educative but would suggest we use neutral cable to the float switch instead of live to avoid shock then live cable from MCB go direct to contractor terminal
@jr electrical school Can you tell me what changes I should make in wiring so that my motor turns off when water level is low and turns on when water level is above set low level in float switch. This is for a .5hp pressure booster pump on I’ve put on the terrace
I have tried this system but it has a flaw. The float switch contacts do not pass the current after a while because of the sparking. So what i did was that i used a relay connection with 12 volt 5 amp dc adaptor. This reduced sparking and is working perfectly
Float switch current rating is low so if your motor Current rating is high then you have to use a contactor Float switch should be used to turn on and off Contactor
Check the current of the motor by using clamp meter or ammeter And if your motor running current is more than 8 Amp please use a Contactor to connect the float Switch
This is what i am also looking for. Two upper and non same level water tanks with float switches and one ground water tank with a single water pump. This is a challenge now... plz somebody hepl..
@@mattiasbanda3063 There must be two float switches bro and 1 contactor is enough. No way you can use 1 float switch to control 2 different water tanks at different levels

Good
Very clear instructions. Thanks for the video.
Wow! I am loving your practical video... God bless you... You have become my favourite
Additional knowledge. Awesome
This is very educative, thanks for sharing it with us...
Your explanation is cristal clear. Thank you
Thanks Tatay✌️
I gone through few other videos but something missed in their videos. However your video very clear and neat demonstration. Thank you..
Thank you! Very helpful
Great job 👍
Nice video
Information technology systems keep up continue with your video
Good Explication 👍👍👍❤❤❤❤
Good work sir, very very helpful

Great Really appreciated
Nice video
Thank you very well illustrated
Very interesting 👌
Good work
Amazing explanation.
I saw multiple videos about float switch but never understood the purpose of Contractor.
Very very good job
Thanks for your practical work thanks for the experience pact to me am grateful sir
Thank you for sharing
Thank you.. interesting
Excellent.
Thanks for the simple clear video. Is it safe for the mains voltage to be connected to the float switch which goes into the water? Is there any possibility of leakage?
Very clear explanation
But directly given power supply to float switch not safe
It's good option for automatic motor pump control.we are also using this way.
thank u sir nice explanation...

Please I will be grateful if you can make a video on how to install a ceiling fan.

What if I connect neutral of motor in another common nutral line? Is it wrong?
@jr electrical school Can you tell me what changes I should make in wiring so that my motor turns off when water level is low and turns on when water level is above set low level in float switch. This is for a .5hp pressure booster pump on I’ve put on the terrace
@TheElectricalGuy I have an underground and overhead tank, can this be done with 2 float switches?
Thank you 😊
Can this be installed under and overhead tank
All contoctor use ?
is it the same set up with a 200v pump?
Float switch control voltage AC230V or 12DC ?
Plz explain the connections of contector with relay. N plz mention me to get notification. Thanx a lot
I think identifying the neutral cable should rather be using the digital multimeter to test for the continuity between two cables... Thanks
Can I use any watts of float to 5 water pump
Can used in Control Circuit
Hello,
What is the reference (brand serial number) of the power contactor in this video. I want to buy one.
Thank you
Good video and explanation but How does this work with safety if we were suppose to have a break in float switch and water goes in?
Which types contactor used in this. please specification.Ampere, voltage etc.
Plz menstaion description of contractor
Hello Is dry run protection involved of no water in well or bore then motor not run even tank is empty????
❤
can you metion value of contactotr
what contactor did you use? NC or NO?
NO?
What is 2 pole MCB amp?
Contactor amp?..
thank
Why can't we break nutral at the place of phase by float switch
You can control neutral also

Float switch should be used to turn on and off Contactor
I use instead of 12v 5 amp adopter, i use 12v 1 amp smps board (cost is 42 rupees).
Please how can you know whether the current rating is high for the float switch... Thanks
If the current rating is High you have to use Contactor
What types of contactor use
@@TheElectricalGuy it's just a general question I want to know... I have not used a float switch before...

what if i have a 220v pump? what size MCB (1 ppole or two) and what sixe magnectic conector do i need?
Bro how to connect timer switch in water tank
How much rs for contactor?
Electric power switch ji
Please do you have a tutorial on how to use a single float switch to control both overhead tank and underground tank with a single motor
By only one float switch you can only control the single take water level

NEED TO FLOAT SWITCHES FOR PROPER FUNCTIONING .
How we can be peaceful when we know the hole 220v is in water tank what if the power goes on water
What I don't understand is both cables on float switch are basically connected to the same live wire
220 voltage in floater switch 💧💧💧
No dear, only neutral line is connected to float switch
Give neutral supply to float switch it's. Safe don't give phase supply it's not safe
Wiring mistake,,again check during underground tank
Wire selection for the float is wrong. When the float is in hanging position the motor should start.
CNC contactor brand is not available locally, pls add link for purchase of the same thanks
