This was awesome !! Sleight of hand is juggling, not magic. It is an amazing skill and a beautiful art form. If someone looks at it and sees something mystical then I am a little saddened by it. We know, that you are manipulating the cards so there is nothing wrong with knowing how you do it. Being able to slow it down to see the true juggling is far more impressive. I took forever learning to juggle like you took forever to do the sleights that you do. It’s not like some simple card trick that you can pick up in a few minutes. I think even @ slow motion, it simply shows how clean and smooth your skills are man; no one is going to pass the surveillance and technology levels that are available today.. just think what we're in for in another decade! Regardless; yes it does reveal more than we wish it would but I have to say aside from showing things that some may not have been aware how these illusions were done, show the level of skill, fluidity, and mastering of these techniques you've taken and perfected to the level of a master that you truly are man, so no worries Sir! Great video as always Chris! Peace, Nic On his better halfs account AAA+ 👍👍👍
This was great. I don't agree with the notion that knowing the secret ruins magic. I know how most sleights work but it is still inspiring and entertaining to see a great performance. As a bonus with me in the audience you can count on me never to reveal and always to go along even if I know exactly how you are doing it.
I've loved n been fascinated with magic for God knows how long ( before 10yrs old) I'm now almost 40 and am more fascinated by a performers skills and talent when I know the method. Without teachers students cease to learn and the art dies... Magic has lived for millennia and shell live for many more.
I dont think the tricks are diminished at all by the fact that you see how they are done. I def agree with you that the "magic" is the total package, not just the mechanics of the sleight. It's what you make your audience believe. It's how you control their perception and your trick montage is SICK. The fact that we can see how it's done just shows the amount of skill you have and gets new ppl into magic.
I'm at the 3:21 mark and I wanna say before I got any further I saw one truck where you had the card behind your hand. You could actually see it through your fingers. *Post video* With that being said. I love your work man. I wanna learn because I love everything about magic. You're sleight of hand is great. Seeing that part in slow motion I realized you were supposed to see what I saw. Keep grinding and making great magic
Great idea! Seeing the slow-mo and getting an inkling of how you made the trick work just made it even MORE MAGICAL! Because, it’s crazy how even knowing how you made it happen still doesn’t get me any closer to being able to do it. It’s gotta be Magic Hands!
If you recorded the sleigh of hand at 25 fps instead of 60, most of the flashing frames would be gone... pretty sure that's how penn and teller protect the tricks on fool us.
I am a fellow Canadian artist. (Musician), and because of these videos, I have been inspired to try card tricks, and my friends enjoy what I can do for them. That's what it is all about. Thanks for the slow motion. Now I can begin to....begin....ha ha
Intro moves: 1.DPS 2.-a trick where the right hand card is produced and hidden every time the left hand comes which also has a single card and does not put in pocket.-(lol) 3.advanced snap change(I think) 4.card split using the snap change 5.Bertram change 6.C3 change 7.shape shifter change 8. Shake change Some of them I have not included cause I don’t know and I have only done sleight of hand for 2 months so sorry if I got any of them wrong

I give you props for doing this video. Take as a teaching tool for yourself and others like me who are horrible at sleight of hand.
I've loved n been fascinated with magic for God knows how long ( before 10yrs old) I'm now almost 40 and am more fascinated by a performers skills and talent when I know the method. Without teachers students cease to learn and the art dies... Magic has lived for millennia and shell live for many more.
lol have a Like!
Rah!
Hi floss! A fan here.
brain: **satisfied but also hurt by this video**
also brain: *[confused screaming]*
Yes you exposed some tricks but it's what the people want to see. Thank you Chris Ramsay
That VPS was a thing of beauty. God damn, dude.
That what bro?
*i never slow vidéos ever i just enjoy it*
That's a bold statement
lmao
9:29 @ .25 speed. Woooooaaaahhhh!
Great idea! Seeing the slow-mo and getting an inkling of how you made the trick work just made it even MORE MAGICAL! Because, it’s crazy how even knowing how you made it happen still doesn’t get me any closer to being able to do it. It’s gotta be Magic Hands!
Your slowed down video just made me respect the actual talent and hard work it takes to do what you guys do.
If you recorded the sleigh of hand at 25 fps instead of 60, most of the flashing frames would be gone... pretty sure that's how penn and teller protect the tricks on fool us.
That is so true dropping the frame rate helps a lot
5:33 how it's done is there any tutorial on you tube
Watch in slowmo and pause at 5:19
I smash a like. Because u said it. And now it broke my screen protector
I am a fellow Canadian artist. (Musician), and because of these videos, I have been inspired to try card tricks, and my friends enjoy what I can do for them. That's what it is all about. Thanks for the slow motion. Now I can begin to....begin....ha ha
Intro moves:
1.DPS
2.-a trick where the right hand card is produced and hidden every time the left hand comes which also has a single card and does not put in pocket.-(lol)
3.advanced snap change(I think)
4.card split using the snap change
5.Bertram change
6.C3 change
7.shape shifter change
8. Shake change
Some of them I have not included cause I don’t know and I have only done sleight of hand for 2 months so sorry if I got any of them wrong
"My sleight of hand is trash"
Oh puh-lease 😂
Thanks for the tutorial, Chris.
7:03
laughed so hard!! the most epic poker face ever!
Now I can slow motion the slow motion lol
Most great thing about that video is that you're learning your mistakes from it as well, as just making show. 2 tricks were just awesome even in slo-mo!
Great Job!
Wow! That's crazy talented. Thank you for being bold and brave enough to do this!
Hi guys ı love you and im from TURKEY
The question is...
Is the hand quiker than the camera?
Ehhh no.
Some of these, even in slow motion, I don't understand how you did it.
I know this is one of your older videos but I’ve been a huge fan of yours for about 4 years now I love watching your tutorials and have even started teaching my son some of the tricks I’ve learned from you I want to say thank you! And would be awesome if you’re ever in central Illinois if We could meet you!!!
Ha!!! Loved your reaction to your .25 DPS-- YES you pulled that off perfectly !!!!! So great watching these in Slow Mo and seeing your reactions. Priceless.
Make a tutorial for this change at 0:37
@Luis Zaubertricks what name this trick?
you know what's better 0.25 the part that is already 0.25🤣🤣🤣
Nobody:
Him: That's like.. one frame
still in that slow… you still rock... the one behind the backhand (6.20)..i practiced that for years..i cant imagine the time you spend.. i surely subscribe
We all know it’s easy now days to “expose” all of this illusions but F*** it, if you love magic, you will appreciate work and effort behind and Chris for doing this for viewers himself.🖤 saludos desde México 🌱
