- Using TinyCam Pro to host WyzeCams and other cameras is a great way to add your local video feeds into ActionTiles. In this video, we go over adding the cameras to ActionTiles from the TinyCam webserver. A username and password can be added and used for the webserver for added security.

can you setup rtsp stream from tinycam pro webser? I am trying to stream from tinycampro webserver to an nvr that can take rtsp protocol but couldn't. Thanks.
very confusing, where did you get that string http..... if i use a different camera does the axis stil apply? if not what to replace it with? i have tried your setup but not working on actiontiles i have a functipning image in tynicam server thank you

You need a dedicated android device that's always on that acts as a web server. I'm using a spare amazon firestick for that purpose.
Nice video, I have follow your instruction and created on my PC the cam feed on my panel, but when I open the same panel on my tablet, the video feed is blank, does not work, any idea?
Having issues with viewing it in action tiles using the link provided by you. Can you please resend it again or anyone who is having success viewing it in action tiles can also send me the correct link

Can you please help, I am using google nest: I have added all information as you put into your video. I cannot see the cameras when I place them into action tiles. Also when I google the ip or web server address it tell me "error page not found". Please help.
Question.. On tinycamPro my stream profile is different than in your first video. My options are Main Sub and Auto.. Which should I choose?
I ran into the same problem and followd every instruction and still cant get my wyze cam to stream on my action tiles panel.
Having an issue with a camera in the uk. Neos which looks basically the same as wyze. I got the camera working fine in actiontile whist setting up, but on the tablet view using kiosk mode it doesn’t show a live view. Just random screen shots. Any help would be appreciated.

I am trying to view a video camera used with tinycam pro on a tablet but by opening action tiles from a web page I can view the camera while opening the action tiles application from the tablet or from fully the media gives me an error and I can't view it ... I don't understand why and I can't solve it .. Can you help me?

Well done and clearly presented. However, I followed this and I am unable to get a preview video stream in ActionTiles when creating a media tile (and it doesn't work). When I copy the URL (w/o user and PW) into a browser am able to view the stream after the authentication prompts (meaning tinycam server is working). When i enter the URL with user and PW i get "file not found". Any ideas what I might have done wrong?
So I had purchased TinyCam Pro a while ago to use on Fire-stick/TV, this way I could see my camera's on my television and it worked great. I now have since purchased ActionTiles for my Smartthings hub and followed your instructions and it worked right away. Problem is, I have my firestick powered by a USB port in my TV so when I turn off my TV, it cuts off the camera feed on ActionTiles. Then I though, I have an old android box (Gbox) I could use that as a web-server... however, when I purchased the google-play store version of TinyCam Pro it wouldn't work. Apparently GooglePlay store without informing me only allowed me to download an older version of TinyCam Pro which isn't compatible with the Wyze Cameras. After some thought I remembered that I own an extra older Amazon firestick. Now my webserver (TinyCam Pro) is running from that extra old Amazon firestick flawlessly and have it plugged into an electrical outlet and without a TV. Thank you! Who would have guessed of using a cheap amazon firestick as a web server?

Cool hack and clear steps by step. One question is if I installed tinycam on my phone but leave the house, does it mean when I leave the house, anyone at home wont see the video on the tablet?

@@TaylorTech thanks for the quick response! That's too bad as I would have loved to repurpose my old Nexus 7 tablet for a panel with video access. I guess I can always install the wyze app if required. Good news is I just found out I can ask Alexa to show the wyze cam to my fire tv so there's that.

Once you have setup tiny cam do you need it to be running in the background in order to display in action tiles or once you have the URL you are good and can remove the app?
The phone is acting as a server. So it would be need to be running on the phone at all times.
I'm guessing you could use the same device that you are using for Action Tiles.

Could you do an update on how to remove lock screen ads on Fire tablet. The script "pm uninstall -k --user 0 com.amazon.kindle.kso" throws an error. Thank you for sharing. -
Parker you can’t remove ads. You can setup Fully kiosk and have it dim and wake on Motion. Never goes to sleep so no need to clear the ads.

The feed is not coming out on mine using Fully Kiosk, I think I need to change something in the settings

I added 2 cameras to Action tiles but it doesn’t matter what number I put in the url it only shows 1 camera. Also it only streams on my laptop and not my Fire Tablet 8.
Anyone know why the wyze cams will show fine on a computer browser view of action tiles but Not on my fire 7 tablet?
I am using an old android to monitor my Nest cams. Can I also use tinycam pro on the old android to work with a Wyze cam simultaneously in order to get a Wyze cam to show on Actiontiles

@Budget Home Automation the device you're running the web server might not be powerful enough... i had that issue so i purchased an cheap Android TV box from Amazon and use that as the webserver... no more restarting Action tiles.

I installed Action Tiles and TinyCam on my Galaxy tab using Chrome. But, I often edit AT on my Windows 10 using Chrome. Spent hours trying to get it to work until I found my Wyse Cam was actually showing up on my tablet.

Yes it is possible, but you'll need a fairly powerful tablet to run both at the same time smoothly
@@TaylorTech okay, also im fairly new to this and I first thought all I needed for smartthings was that app, but now it seems like I need a whole smartthings hub to actually connect everything to the app and then to actiontile, is this correct?

I got my Wyze cam working yesterday, but for some reason it stopped working on Action Tiles, I checked the IP and looks like it changed on my server, and I changed it on my Media in ActionTiles and still I cannot access the webserver, I can see the camera on TinyCam but not on my browser or Actiontiles, Do you have any idea what could be the problem?
Did you find a fix for this yet? I have the same issue
@@penningtonsm Most routers allows for a DHCP reservation. Basically tells the your router to always give your phone the same IP address. You can pit whatever address you want.
You could put the original IP address as a reservation for your phone and see if that works.
Mine seems to freeze often and not refresh unless I close the kiosk app and open it back up. Anyone else have this issue?
Actiontiles is asking me to "enter valid url to preview video stream". I guess I'm entering something wrong. Entered the url exactly how u said to. Any idea what I'm doing wrong or how to get my correct url?

Dang, so 3-4 is the max? I was hoping this was going to open it up so i could monitor a whole commercial business with them.
Using tinycam and ActionTiles probably wouldn't be the best idea to monitor a business with. You could get away with wyze cams but stick to the built in functionality off the wyze app. Or go with a more commercial NVR camera system

Also video shows in action tiles preview but does not show when you actually open you panels on tablet/phone. Just blank panel. Anyone has a solution to this? Thx

I bought 10 cameras and like them, HOWEVER, IMO they have zip for customer service. Suddenly, I couldn't open the app, the logo screen came up and then it reverted back to the "desktop". This acted the same on my tablet. I tried everything and nothing helped. I submitted a ticket, waited a day then called them, got a kid that didn't know payday was Friday. Asked a lot of questions and then admitted that he didn't know anything and would contact tech (I had pushed "tech" as my phone selection). Now its been 8 days and still nothing. By accident, I solved the issue. I used another phone and downloaded the app when it asked for the password, I just happened to say that I forgot it, so it sent me a reset link and I redid the password and then it worked on that phone. I went back to my phone and tablet, used the new password and they now works. There is one thing that you may have to deal with, on the outdoor cameras, it will trigger a motion when a bug flys by. So you may get a lot of notices at night.
This video needs to be updated. current method doesn't work actiontiles no longer supports http. As a sponsored video you at least do that.
