Really appreciate these updates and the transparency, plus the fact that you're listening to customer feedback! Can't wait for this to come to fruition!
This is going to be another FirstBuild winner!!! Can’t wait-great job all!
Doug is a visionary! Love that we are getting something so amazing because of him.😅 Thanks Doug!
Great stuff. Thanks! Looking forward to March. Will be nice to have a "Sidekick" to help with the day to day of sourdough baking.
I really like that interface
Can't wait !! ❤❤❤❤❤
This is looking awesome! Can’t wait to see this come to fruition!
i can't wait for this. I do sour dough every day.
Looking good. This will help me out tremendously! Can't wait for crowd funding day!
I am so looking forward to this. I cannot wait for it.
This is exciting- waiting patiently for.
this looks amazing and would make my life so much easier. would love to be a beta tester.
Looks so good!! Amazing to see it evolve through every step. Would love to sign up as a beta tester if it’s possible! And looking forward to the launch 👍
I can’t wait to get this product. The reason I stopped making sourdough is because I kept forgetting to feed, and when I did remember, it was a pain in the arse to keep discarding and feeding. (And messy). I think this is going to take a lot of the pain out of the process.
@@catchykitchencave first of all after a starter is established you don’t have to feed it all the time. Second of all you don’t have to discard anything you simply use less to start with. And then you don’t have to discard for approximately four days maybe longer depending on the size jar that you’re using. And discard you keep and it continues to process while it’s in the fridgeand you can use that in recipes after it’s about 10 or 14 days old. Trying to shortcut and come out in the same way that you can by doing tried and true methods is just sheer laziness.
very excited! I'd also love to beta test it.
Hoping this has a feature for GF starters!
Looking forward to trying this. My anniversary is coming up and thinking this might be a good excuse to make hubby some bread 😂 if he buys this for me.
The wife can’t wait. How do you become a beta tester?
My husband and I are SO excited for this! We have a super active special needs toddler & so many starters have died because we forgot about taking care of them 😅
She is very nice!
Amazing ❤
Will be nice if can tell you the PH of your sourdough
Awesome product. Will this have any environmental controls within it, such as something to heat or cool the starter to speed or slow it?
I would love to be a tester for your pre-production prototype. I could provide a perspective on using the device in high altitudes.
I am excited to get one. I have issues with my discard
Is there a seperate hopper on top for flour and for water? Also with the demo it shows seed. What is seed?
What’s the total amount of starter the container can hold? I sometimes need 600 grams for my bakes.
Is it going to be available internationally? I’m in the UK. Ideally would love to purchase with a UK plug, but at a minimum I need it to be able to handle 230volts. If this isn’t already planned, can you incorporate into the design??
Will it have temperature control or temperature monitoring?
Also: will have enough strength for a panettone starter (hard dough)?
Can you calculate for freshly milled flour?
For complete novices to Sourdough, will the Sidekick start a starter.
There is no reason to babysit your starter and no precise schedule is needed. I can't believe people are so lazy they can't add flour and water to a jar and stir it. 🙄🙄
