Hi, you did a great review of the Fjallraven keb 52 in the past.
Now that you're using it for months.
Could you give us your feedback about it.
Thanks for your videos, you're doing great job.
Good question, i'm curious too. Nice video Ted 👍
Hey bro! to be honest, the more I use it the more I like it! during the adventures you can really see how the designer thought when the bag was developed. everyt feature just makes sense! One thing that I miss is the option to put the top lid as a chest pack or use it separately like you can with the Kajka top lid, I love that feature, it makes the bag so much more versatile.
other than that, its sturdy, comfortable to wear for long distances even with a heavy load (20-22kgs). I hope that stills your curiosity : ) be safe brother!
@@TedWeirum Thanks Ted! Like the thought of that size instead of my 75 litre backpack. Take care!
Great video and beautiful looking trail. I love my Hanwags, considering buying some low cut shoes from them so may look at these
it's a great option brother, I think they could be useful for the types of adventures your'e doing!
lovely stuff
Nice looking shoes especially the orange color lace. I have wide feet, does this shoes work well on wide feet? How stable isn’t it? Thanks
hey! I got really wide feet too, I use the tatra wide and the hanwag ancash is also made for wider feet, this shoes works great for wide feet as well, I didn't get any blisters or anything like that. I usually do get them but nothing this time so I'm happily surprised! it's a really stable shoe, the grip is awesome too. stability of course is also dependent on how much you carry and how used you are to a heavier load but for me on this occasion it worked like a charm. take care!
Ted Weirum thanks for the feedback. I have a Tatra and I feel it’s a little heavy so I’m looking forward to this lighter weight boots
It’s a great option! :)
Heading to the Fjallraven Swedish Classic and wondering if you have a boot recommendation?
I do, but first I have to know about your feet and prior experience!
Do you have wide feet? And places that you get blisters on?
What’s your prior experience with hiking and when was the last time you were out for 4-5 days with a backpack with around 15-20 kegs of weight? :)
@@TedWeirum not especially wide foot and I’ts been a couple years since doing more than a couple nights. Only blisters I’ve had have been on back of my heels
Ok! I’d have a look at Tatra II from Hanwag, great overall boot with awesome stability and it will last for a decade if treated right!
@@TedWeirum thanks Ted. I was debating between those and the Tatra light gtx. Just ordered a pair of the Tatra ii
Sounds good! :) let me know what you think! :)
Ted, I’m sorry, I know my question will have nothing to do w/ this video, but are U going to do a review on the Abisko Midsummer line? & how do they relate to the Travellers MT line...which I think has been discontinued?
Hey Terry, I will do that in the future yes. I don't know if the travelers MT have been discontinued, that might be the case, give it a couple of more months and you'll know a bit more I think :)
amazing content
thanks!
Hej,
The only negative I've heard about these is a problem with them leaving in water on a forefoot flex point after a bit of use. Did you find that? I like everything else about them and reassuring they're the "alpine wide last" so not super narrow
I haven’t had that experience :)
@@TedWeirum good to hear
Great video as always Ted. A side q, what do you think about ultralight gear/hype going on these days?
thank you! regarding ultralight I think there's some good stuff out there but I don't know how reliable all these things are in a rougher environment or when the rain and wind kicks in. hope that answers your question
Review starts after four minutes.
James Postle hey James, would you like an earlier start? I get it, 4 minutes in is a long time if you’re just interested in specs and features! Glad you pointed it out!
Härlig video, hoppas att det kommer fler från Thailand 😊❤
ja, det kommer ett par till ;) ❤️
Looks like some amazing scenery
it was so amazing, can't wait to show it! : )
Good job!!!
Thank you brother!
