Thank you, this is a super helpful resource! It was a link in my college course editing section. I would not have thought to change the font or print it out to take a new look at the writing. Reading it backwards sounds like a fun and quirky way to proofread as well! Also, I love your accent!
I like your suggestion for changing the font on the work. I have tried it and I am amazed at how different my paper seemed after reading it a different way. Also letting your brain breathe a little in between reading/proofing does help a lot. Thanks for sharing! I plan on using all of these tips when working on my paper this semester!
You mentioned letting the paper breathe. That is good advice. It reminded me of when I struggled to write a paper on a really dry subject in Ethics. I went back and forth with it for a few days. It was just one of those times when you are not interested in the subject. It actually made me tired of trying to write it, and I missed a lot of stuff. I took a break from it for a day and came back and corrected it.
Great video Denise, I’ve done all of your tips and think I’m in need of a professional now. I’ve actually read through my book over 20 times you know 🙊 I’m finding it difficult to find a good proof reader though 😬 hope you’ve had a great day 😊
This is the best proofreading video I have found on UA-cam.
Thank you! That was extremely helpful!

I like the ruler idea. I hadn't thought of that one. I love your helpful videos!
Lisa Dailey thank you! I’m glad you’ve found them helpful.

Thanks Denise. Great tips for writers of all ages. I especially like your suggestion for changing the font/font size.
Suzanne Esson you’re welcome, I’m glad you found them useful. Change the font is always a popular one - so easy to do!
Merci beaucoup, Madame Denise.
All is good, but for me, the ruler tip was the best.

Agreed. Hard to find good editor or proofreader. Lots of people claim they can do this, but can’t.
Really useful! Thank you, Denise :)
Thank you Okemor! I'm so glad you found the video helpful.
Irish Accent? ❤️ I'd love to write a bio. Call in a professional . 🙂🤗 The last one.
Make several passes - and I’ve got a 99,000 word novel. Not happy.
