Lovely runner first 30 mins was too sad for me
as much as i love mr queen part of me prefers the original chinese version ( a lot of people don’t know it’s adapted from a cdrama ) there’s a few endings but in the second one when the guy wakes up and runs around the hospital he bumps into a doctor who seems to be the emperors reincarnation
also there’s a scene near the end that delves more into the gender aspect of it which i thought was a nice touch
plus in the sequel it seems that she actually stays in the past although we don’t see her?
