If you have a chance...ride it. I can not explain how easy is kove 500x for riding on and off road. Much more capable and lighter that yamaha t7, much closer to ktm 690r, but way better on road.

It weighs only 178kg and you can feel it immediately when you sit on it. There's also good equipment (e.g. suspension, brakes) and the engine is a Honda construction. I was looking for an A2 ADV motorcycle and this one won with anything you can buy as new now. Unfortunately, they're selling them out now, because the successor (510X) is coming.
The engine is a gem. Nice usable torque from 2000 to 6000 rpm, thaen it starts to accelerate real strong. Consuption is 3,7l, coupled with 21 liters of fuel gives the bike autonomy between 500 and 600 km

You're trying to convince yourself and others that you did not get hosed Trying to compare the 500X to the T7 or KTM 690 when EVERYONE knows its a poor comparison. The kove and the T7/690 are in different leagues altogether. A better comparison would be to a Honda CB500X. They have about the same power and useage.@@MERMBRAMA
That bike has been around the Philippines for almost two years. Its a very popular mid sized budget ADV.
