Michael was a menace this whole damn movie! A lot of people didn’t like it, but I did because it lived up to its title. The Kills are brutal.
Watch Zzavid’s reaction to this. It’s hilarious!
Exactly, I don't get those people who think this movie is a flop. I actually enjoyed it a lot
I love this movie!🎃🔪
That flashback scene where all of the cops have their guns drawn and pointed at Michael. He's standing there in the exact spot his Mom and Dad found him standing in his clown mask/costume 15 years earlier after he killed his Sister. That was so well done.
Oh shit, I didn't think of that...
Michael moved pretty quickly in the original 1978 Halloween, so it makes perfect sense that they added that into the flashback. ❤
They actually brought back alot of OG characters that are reprising their original roles from 1978. ❤
Big payday for subpar actors although it was wholesome for the og fans of the franchise, even in 2018 the teacher was the girl who was strangled by Michael in the original (totally)
@@RickJames-wf2rmP.J. Soles. She had a decent career for a number of years after Halloween.
@@SurvivorBriyes, she was married to Dennis Quaid
"Girl close yo eyes and pretend you already dead"
J you are hilarious man 🤣🤣
Laurie left Michael to burn in the basement and it really pissed him off in this one. He was on a rampage.
J your face when Michael kicks the car door and she shoots herself in the face is priceless 🤣🤣
My favorite kill. And probably 2nd only to Bob in the 1978 original.
@@Bonk_rdsBob's death is the #1 slasher kill of all time. It has to be.
Dude upstairs singing, smoking a j, just having a great time 😂❤
🚬 Let alone in Michael’s fricking house on Halloween night 😂🔪🩸
I dig em though!
I’ll take 97 “EVIL DIES TONIGHT!” chants and a woman prepared to fight Michael with an iron over the garbage you’re going to witness in the next one. It makes this look like Academy Award material. 😂 Michael was excellent in this one.
30:04 Doesn't help that he screamed the same way when MIKE Myers as Austin Powers was slowly creeping up to him with the steamroller.
I'm really glad you liked this one. Now lower your expectations below sea level and you *MIGHT* enjoy 'Ends' lol.
🤣❤
This one was so bad. 😂 the next one is the worst but this whole trilogy was garbage bags.
A lot of people dislike this movie, but it is hard-core fun to me. Glad you loved it too.
I honestly don’t get why people hate this movie. It payed homage to. Halloween 4 with the mob hunting. Michael and showed us how Michael was apprehended. Plus the kills were awesome. In my opinion watching Halloween 1,2 then 2018 then kills is a great time.
Those fools brought hockey sticks and baseball bats to a Michael Myers fight 😳
Don't forget the woman who brought a laundry iron...... 😂
They didn't do half bad. Maybe if they continued, things would have ended.
They shot him too
What they did to him in the third movie is the way to go...
I like how they paid homage to Halloween III with the pumpkin, skeleton, and witch masks.
Silver Shamrock!
Halloween Ends pays homage to Season Of The Witch as well with the blue font credits in the intro and it being a very different Halloween film like Season Of The Witch was very different.
@@darthtrip7188 It ISN'T very different. The plot is the same. A build up to the showdown between Laurie and Michael. Both characters very much in the movie. A sudden and frankly irritating subplot gets tossed in and mucks up the movie.
@@Bluesit32 Ummm Halloween Ends is basically Stephen King's/John Carpenter's Christine but with Michael Myers and a copycat killer. Like it or hate it, that's very different than any other Halloween film.
@@darthtrip7188 ...how is that like Christine? Where is a sentient car that self repairs in Halloween Ends?
I'm so glad you liked this one. The evil dies tonight thing was dumb, but getting to see Michael do what he does best was a treat.
people keep saying that was dumb, could you explain how?
He's M.W.A
STRAIGH OUTTA HADDONFIELD
😹😹😹
Michael is NOT human
I deeply appreciate you not stretching this series allll the way out to October. Good lookin man!
You're gonna be so disappointed with Halloween Ends!
I am SOOOO ready for this one. The plate will be scraped tonight!!
I just happened to stumble across your channel a few minutes ago, and maaaaaan I am glad i did. My mom is suffering from Lewy Body Dementia and I've been in a really dark place these past few weeks. Your reaction got the first genuine laugh outta me, something I've been lacking this past few months. Thank you for being you, and thank you for the laughs ❤ I've definitely subbed.
❤
The grown-up Linzy Wallace is the same little girl from the first movie. Her name is Kyle Richards. She's a reality tv star now. Tommy Doyle was played by Brian Andrews. It would have been nice to see him back, but Anthony Michael Hall did an ok job. There were some reports that said it was almost gonna be Paul Rudd since he played Tommy in Halloween 6. He went with Ghostbusters: Afterlife instead.
He already signed a contract otherwise he said he'd love to return
@@deusexmachina2222Despite saying he hated Halloween VI.
To say that Michael Myers is simply a ‘person’, …. is like saying GODZILLA is simply a ‘lizard’ 🎃🔪
“Apparently Evil Dies Tonight…”
😂😂😂
This one isn’t that bad. Ignore the stupid cringey “riot” and it’s a damn sight better than most of the sequels. I also don’t have a problem with “Ends”. At least it tried something new.
Thank you.
Nothing wrong with trying something new, but not when you're doing the end of a trilogy. Not with all the hype this movie built up. Had they introduced some of the new elements in the start of this trilogy, then it could work.
@@Bluesit32 The elements were literally laid out in *this* movie where everybody is consumed with rage, violence, paranoia and darkness to the point where they've become a mob of mindless killers themselves. Even in the first movie with the podcasters being obsessed with Michael and Dr. Sartain helping Michael to kill and even killing people himself to protect Michael. Y'all just clearly ignored the set up because all you care about is gore and kill counts.
@@onyx081 Oh please... that's just how scared people act. Nothing supernatural about it.
Kills was a mixed back in hindsight, the first 30 or 45 minutes have some of my favorite scenes out of all of the sequels but Tommy Doyle and the portrayal of Haddonfield was like a spoof movie. They leaned too hard into the imposter patient part for me to fully appreciate what the rest has to offer, Michael scraping the plate clean.
39:12 "How do y'all still say this is a person? There ain't nothin' 'person' about this!" 🤣😂🤣😂🤣 Facts! Lolol.
the loomis flashback was so epic to watch in the theatre, i was gagged
Me as a die hard Halloween fan I never thought Michael was human
Tommy's actor in this wasn't in the original Halloween, nor was the Lonnie actor. Kyle Richards (Lindsey) and Nancy Stephens (Marion) were in the original Halloween alongside JLC, Nick Castle (The Shape), and Charles Cyphers (Brackett).
If Michael can move faster than Danny Glover, then you’re definitely going to be dead!
No one I have ever known argued that Michael is human. When Loomis emptied his revolver into his chest and then he fell off a 2nd story balcony and just walked it off like it was nothing? Yeah, there's never been anything human about him at all other than the fact that he was born to two human parents.
I agree about the cop. After being stabbed in the carotid artery and being run over by the police car (even if it were just the pelvis and legs), he should have been dead by the time he was found. He was bleeding out without any pressure being applied the entire time Laurie and her family were battling Michael. His heart would have stopped beating long before he was found.
I enjoy this one. I love the flashback to 1978. The attention to detail in that scene was amazing.
I LOVED this one.
Got to see it in the theater; when I went, it was just me and one other lady in the whole room.
So essentially empty; it was wonderful.
I’ll never understand the hatred of these last 2 films they are fucking awesome. They don’t have the most unbelievable storyline in the world but watching them back to back is intense and the kills are the most awesome things ever
The whole mob scene drove me nuts 🤦🏼♂️
We've had our disagreements with Michael and Jason, and that's perfectly fine. This time, I am in FULL agreement with you. This is one of the hardest hitting Halloweens ever made, and I still don't know why so many hate it.
I mean, look at the comments from the previous one and this one, where did all the haters go? Granted I haven't read every single comment, but I don't see anyone complaining or saying why they don't like this one.
Like you said, this is probably the most accurate representation of what would happen in a small town if a crazed murderer were loose. Besides, it's called "Halloween Kills." That's exactly what happens, and that's exactly what people were wanting. Yet they still bitch about it.
The next one however, it goes off in another direction. It's really not the greatest, but the ending is pretty fucking cool. It does end this trilogy, but the rights to the franchise have been purchased, and plans for more are in talks. 2028 is the 50th anniversary, so I'd be surprised if something didn't happen for it.
"Michael Myers is 7'12"" LOL.
I’ll never understand why ppl say Halloween Kills is bad. I agree, it’s one of the best Halloween movies
It's easily the best film in terms of Michael Myers carnage candy. That's what a lot of fans wanted from this one above all else, and it delivers on that.
It's too bad that much of the film surrounding the carnage is lackluster, but at least those moments come and go quickly enough.
yeah i dont get it either. Halloween Ends is the garbage ass movie but Halloween Kills was dope
@Lions1986 Say it louder for the people in the back! Halloween Ends is GARBAGE!
31:58 - if you remember the 2nd escaped patient was seen in the 2018 Halloween. He was holding the umbrella at the start of the movie
Of the current trilogy this one is my favorite because there were some violent kills, followed by the 1st one & H.Ends is a distant 3rd. Glad you liked this one!
EVIL DIES TONIGHT! 🎃
Michael was pissed this movie and we loved it. Also if you pay close attention to him after Karen takes his mask you can hear Michael tell her to give it back
"Give it back" is bullshit, JJC even said it didn't happen, it was merely a rumour made by fanboys/fangirls to overhype a moment in the film, he doesn't say anything
@@RickJames-wf2rmMichael doesn’t speak.
@@goldenageofdinosaurs7192Rob Zombie’s Michael begs to differ 🤣🤣🤣

@@rodgill9376Rob Zombie’s Halloween sucks
The reason why the one guy did not leave is because as scared as he was of dying, the thought of living without his lover was even more frightening. At least in death he can be with his lover.
He always stands still and waits for death instead of running away. He did the same thing in Austin Powers with that steam roller

My top 5 Halloween movies!
1) Halloween (1978)
2) Halloween 2 (1981)
3) Halloween 6: Curse of Michael Myers (Theatrical Version)
4) Halloween (2018)
5) Halloween Kills
You and I have pretty much the same exact top 5. The only difference is I have halloween 2 at #1 and 1978 at #2.
@dawnofthewalkers4915 Dopeness and 1981 has a special place in my heart as well.
What are your least favorite Halloweens?
This one different 🔥🔥🔥
No... This one don't suck.. the last one does! IMO
40:21 lol I love when you remind the characters to do what they said. It’s hilarious
My FAVORITE one out of all
This one was really cool for me because it was the first time someone I knew personally was in an actual Halloween movie with Jamie Lee Curtis.
Also...it was never fully explained how Michael can get shot, stabbed, beaten senseless, etc., and still get up like nothing happened. I always believed it was because, in the words of Loomis, "Hell would not have him." And for damn sure, heaven would not have him. So, he's stuck on Earth. And as long as he's stuck on Earth, he's going to be a menace.
I like that they brought back the original Lindsay. The 78 flashbacks were awesome. And that they included the Halloween 3 masks. I could have done without the evil dies tonight crap and the guy jumping out the window. But overall, I really liked this one.
I KNEW you were going to love this one. Its totally your style and i know you been waiting for a better addition since Halloween 5. He really scraped the plate in this one : )
Lmfao, the fact that they thought that other dude was michael myers is literally comedy gold. 😂😂😂😂 like wth. If i was Michael, i would be offended. 😂
Michael Myers is the personification of evil, hence why he was called “The Shape” in the original movies. He definitely is not human, he’s pure evil. However, he is old now, but that evil never dies… this movie was great for one main reason, Michael got to rampage and it was so brutal and fun to watch. The guy who plays Michael nails his movements, something that was missing from all Halloween movies since the first two. People really hate on the last one, Ends. It swings big and takes a risk… I love it, but many don’t.
This is one of my favorite Halloween movies. I think people say it sucks because that's what the internet tells them.
If you thought Michael being an uber and crying was bad, oh he is going to have a FIELD DAY with Halloween Ends and i cannot wait for it🤣IYKYK
when did Michel cry or be an uber? Halloween 5?
@millyoneyedeaz1350 Yep!
Man Blanks editting skills with J playin Piano in the beginning.. fuckin love it.
Love that you saw this ! This film is a masterpiece in my eyes. The director worked at a small town factory for a year or two to be in the real world , and got to know real ppl outside the Hollywood bubble . The authenticity of the actors and victims in this amazes me. It was brutal & hard to see the beloved characters ( this was all the original actors ! ) , both lovable couples , firemen , good police get got by Michael , but Michael “ scraped the plate “ for sure . Thanks Blank for showing J this cut as it has the pivotal Judy Greer scene at the end. I adore you and the puppies & your channel J . Will sign up for patreon soon . Hope you are doing good and resting , and taking care of yourself between all these movies and games ! Thank you both for all the hard work on the channels 🐾
Almost all the original actors. Tommy's actor in this wasn't in the original Halloween, nor was the Lonnie actor. But yes, Kyle Richards (Lindsey) and Nancy Stephens (Marion) were in the original Halloween alongside JLC, Nick Castle (The Shape), and Charles Cyphers (Brackett).
Lmfao you gonna make me come over there and level them damn pictures up on the wall. 😂😂😂
Awesome reaction of my favorite Halloween movie!!!!!!😊😊😊😊😊😊
Awesome to see you loved this one. I just assumed before I clicked on it that you would hate it, because everyone besides me seems to for some reason.
This one didn't land for me because Laurie spent the whole movie in the hospital with a hole in her belly. basically doing narration Also, the evil dies tonight stuff just was really immersion breaking. HOWEVER, I have to admit that the kills were great and J nailed it talking about how badass that firefighter scene was. Also, the minor characters were great just like 2018, so it actually mattered when they died. They did a lot of things right, but it just fell short of 2018 IMO.
That is a much better ending than the theaterical version. Michael just kills her and he stares out the window while Laurie is staring out a window in the hospital.
You were watching the extended cut of the movie. The other version did not have Michael answering the phone. It ended with Karen on the ground. Dr Loomis was not a CGI effect. It was a man who worked behind the scenes on the movie. With a little bit of practical effects makeup, he looked exactly like him.
Crazy doesn't get tired, and crazy is strong as hell, it doesn't matter how old it is.
I had a relative with dementia, age 75. He became psychotic at the psychiatric ward. The room doors in places like that are no joke. He ripped it off the hinges. It took six men to hold him down, and the whole time, he was trying to bite them and trying to gouge their eyes. They popped him with a big dose of thorazine. That finally stopped him. From then on, he was physically and chemically restrained.
Carpenter's Halloween theme is a banger. Saw theme by Clouser is my second favorite!
Can’t wait for this one
22:16 😂😂😂😂😂😂
And 38:36 was the most badass of the whole series!! Michael was like "Ok...yall wanna play? Let's play. But first...."
I definitely get the argument about Michael not being a real person, and agree with you. At least in this series he's a "real" person. Michael did sustain a bunch of injuries that you'd think would have killed a real human. Having said that, there was a soldier named Roy Benavidez who sustained 37 injuries, including being shot multiple times, having grenade shrapnel in him, and sustaining multiple bayonet wounds and he still lived. This was after he had stepped on land mines a few years earlier and lived through that as well. President Reagan presented him with the CMH, and Benavidez didn't die until 1998 due to respiratory failure and complications related to his Diabetes. So..... someone surviving all kinds of crazy wounds isn't completely out of the realm of possibilities.
When he did the imitation of a “crazy person”, I LOST IT 🤣🤣 Also, “3-Toe Tony”🤣🤣
Sure the sheriff guy but how many times have you overlooked another sheriff guy in a particular franchise miraculously barely surviving?
The woman who survived the park slaughter, is Kyle Richards from RHOBH. She was actually the little girl who Laurie ended up babysitting.
Hell yeah bro absolutely agree best Halloween 🔥🔥
You’ve been droppin heat after heat!
“I wanna see what he do.”
My brother in Christ, you’re gonna get your money’s worth here.
Man I’m glad you finally got to the
What I like to call The
Old Man Myers Saga.
Have you caught the fact that Michael never once
Went after Laurie strode on his own.
He holds no vendetta against her.
He’s just a man who likes to delete people.
And the towns people unknowingly became the villains by letting Michael scare them into becoming a paranoid, bloodthirsty, revenge mob who are
Causing just as much chaos as Michael
Has.
Also, Nurse Marion has now been killed twice by Michael. Once in Halloween H20 at the start of the movie and again here
I would love to see your reaction to the collector 😂😂😂 I'm sure you won't be disappointed
14:22 The TV applauds. Apparently that kill was a crowd pleaser.
Here we go!
Trust me, you'll hate Halloween Ends as music as Halloween Resurrection & Jason Goes To Hell
Halloween: Ends is probably one of the most divisive movies in history. People either love it or absolutely hate it. It is a very different Halloween movie because they tried to do something different rather than the same old thing that’s been done in every sequel.
The original Michael shared the role here. The original nurse Marion and Sherriff Bracket (Annie's father) were back. The same Lindsey is back. She and her sister grew up to be Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. The sister is the little girl from Escape to Witch Mountain. Their niece is Paris Hilton. They replaced Lonnie. And unfortunately they didn't bring back the original Tommy. They would never say why but physically he is a small guy that isn't' very built or athletic. So he doesn't' fit the evil dies oops no it's me new Tommy. Plus he's had personal issues in real life.
Nice reaction j i loved it to 😂
They tell us that Michael is human to throw us off in the movie before this, most might think so since this a continuing story with a new timeline . Michael isn't just a normal person like they try to convince us to believe, a part of the twist is discovering that he really isn't, as most of us may have suspected anyway. Which is why the end of the movie takes a supernatural turn as Laurie explains why he can't die.
It is strange that there's a subplot about the dangers of vigilante violence, surrounded by the main story about how there's an unstoppable menace that everyone needs to team up and fight. Complete mismatch of storylines.
The issue of is Michael human or supernatural is, the movies themselves aren't sure. He's indestructible, or vulnerable, depending on what the particular scene needs him to be. It's wildly inconsistent.
In fact "inconsistent" sums up this entire trilogy pretty well. They threw out all the old sequels so they would be free to tell new stories, then give us a part 2 where Laurie spends the entire movie in a hospital bed, just like the original HALLOWEEN II. They throw out all the mythology (secret siblings, cult of druids) and stress, really stress, that he's just a man and has no particular problem with the Strode family, only to immediately reverse course and make him supernatural again and have him kill Laurie's daughter. These movies are ALL over the place.
I love this movie people hate on this one alot Michael is like 150 years old by now he is a demon but he cant be all powerful forever this one i enjoyed alot and the last one after this😊
I love Halloween Kills! I've never understood all the hate? My favorites are:
Halloween 1978
Halloween Kills
Halloween 2018
Halloween Ends
I KNOW THATS RIGHT!!! this is my favorite after the original too! It's one of the rare horror movies where the villain wins in the end.
Great reaction bro! I loved Halloween 2018 and Halloween Kills was pretty decent other than the “Evil Dies Tonight” and some dialogue in the hospital. Other than that, I think it’s a great film and the flashback to 1978 was truly unbelievable all of the detail that they got, especially in the Myers house.
The actor that played Dr. Loomis in the flashback did a decent job. He had a lot of prosthetics for the role and they did a pretty good job making it seem like it was Donald Pleasance.
Just a fair warning: Prepare yourself for Halloween Ends…. 🤦🏼♂️ I went into the film trying to be optimistic and after the first time watching I was left speechless and wanted to turn it off. They tried something different and it just didn’t sit well with any true Halloween fan. Especially the way to end the trilogy.
Keep up the awesome videos! ✊🏼
I knew you would like that car door scene😄
This one hit different…Michael was at an all time high on this one!🎃
You can’t just burn down a house in this housing market! 🤣
You are exactly right on, Michael is NOT human. I liked some scenes but there are scenes that was dumb and could’ve been left out. Fans either loved it or hated it but mostly hated it. I will tell you when you watch and react to Halloween Ends you will not like it. It rips off Christine and IT and Michael is an OG so, to me, it seemed like the writers got bored and came up with any story just to end it which left all Halloween fans pissed. It’s the most polarizing sequel we could’ve done without but looking forward to seeing your reaction and hearing your thoughts when you get the chance to watch it. Take care, Jay. - Gene A.
First, the human thing... Michael is human and has supernatural qualities.
Thats directly from John Carpenter. Yes he's a person biologically
but his supernatural side, doesnt mean he's invincible, just resilient
(as most supernatural characters are, they're killable, just not by usual means)
Laurie's monologue in the hospital is about Michael's reputation,
not himself.... Keep in mind, she's arrived to her conclusion without the facts.
She doesnt know the firemen were the reason he survived.
Nobody but us, the audience knows these details of teh situations.
My only thing is: "Evil dies tonight" is a slogan thats realistically said over the span of a few hours.
It was coined by Marion at the bar and when she died, Tommy used it as a uniting factor.
In real life, regardless of community size, these things span far more time.
Its a story about the townspeople responding to Michael
so focusing on other than that, makes no sense for the story.
The mistaken identity subplot was taken from Halloween 2 and 4,
when Loomis got both Ben Tramer and Ted Hollister killed
I love this whole Blumhouse trilogy to be honest and i will say,
alot of criticisms towards Kills and Ends, i find to be dishonest or dont make any sense.
great reaction video as usual. I cant wait for you to watch Ends.
The only problem I had with it was the mob uprising in the hospital and chasing the wrong guy. Other than that, this was a fantastic movie. Also Michael is said to have some form of teleporting ability. That's why he can disappear and reappear in different spots. When you think about it, he did that several times in the first movie.
Thanks for another great one bro. It’s time for terrifier 1 and 2 reaction :) I promise you’ll be fine ma dude
I hadn't seen this movie, but it looks great. I loved how J called Michael 7' 12" lol
Least queen Lindsay Wallace survived
This one was the best Halloween movie so far out of all of them in my opinion.
You might be disappointed when you see Halloween Ends. But the last 15 minutes of it was satisfying in my opinion. And still better than some of the other Halloween movies.
Those last kills sorta felt like they ran out of time to film though cuz they're all just quick flash cuts
@@TheBombasticFatRat or, it would have taken too long to play out onscreen doing it the other way
