Aloo posto is comfort food for me (and I guess for most bengalies). And for me, it pairs the best with plain white rice. Steaming hot rice and aloo posto and I don't need anything else ❤

Aloo Posto is the emotion of Bengal. We are addicted to Posto. You don't need achar to make posto spicy. Green chilies are enough. In our household you'll ask for milk or ice cream after eating posto.

10:56 kashmiri damaloo doesn’t consist of onion tomato gravy . it’s purely an oily spicy gravy made from red chilli powder , fennel powder , ginger power and whole spices..

Bedami puri has a urad dal peethi stuffing in it. Even in banarasi breakfast the famous kachori sabji has bedami kachori with the sabji. And only half teaspoon stuffing is stuffed in each kachori so you might not be able to see a thick layer of stuffing in kachori.

Luchi goes well with alu dum or alur dom as we bongs say....alu posto goes well with hot rice. The combination was incorrect. But the dishes are all great❤

Kashmiri dum aaloo spicy hota hai, even ki aap kashmiri khaana khaoge woh bhi spicy hota hai, rista which are minced meat balls woh agr mauka mila toh zarur khaana, aapne kabhi aaisi dish nhi khayi hogi aur woh spicy hota hai, same with dum aloo woh bhi spicy hota hai, kabhi aao urban guide waalon jammu and kashmir, we will definitely give u a good food experience, also love and support from jammu. And one more dish which is made up of potatoes is kachalu from our jammu and kashmir region, u should definitely try this dish.
In any food video try "Dal Bhat Aloo Bhujia", Biharis/Jharkhandi/UPites/Nepalese can't live without, there is a proverb in tarai region, Dal Bhat power 24 hours. Kota m cooking sikh liya tha mai bihari dal bhaat bhujia k liye... Recipe chahiye to bolna bhej dunga aaplogo ko, banao kabhi, ek pura video hi ispe karo, aur main part, eat that with ur hands, dal chawal milao thora aloo bhujia mash karo usme aur khao: आत्मतृप्ति।

Alu posto is emotion for bengalis... It pairs best when you have it with " bhat" (Rice), muger dal(moog dal) and some "gondhoraj lebu"
You should really try bhavnagari bhungla bateka which is basically potato with lots of spice ginger and garlic and you have that with bhungla with hollow cylindrical shaped crispy thing. MUST TRYYYYY
Aloo posto should be eaten with rice and biuli/urad daal..a match made in heaven. Also you can try making a video on items/recipes that are created out of poppy seeds, like postor Bora, baatti posto, onion posto, etc. ❤

Aloo-posto can also be cooked in thick gravy. Aloo-chokha is eaten in Bengali households too, not with Litti though. The kick of green chillies and mustard oil with fried onions is heaven. And yes, a good sandwich filler. Kashmiri Dum Aloo is sweet in nature. What my MA does looks different though. It's white in color and cooked in a rich paste of Kaju, Peanuts and Kismis. Yum!! That looked different to me.
